The hosts did an amazing job with the amenities.... from the game cabinet, K-cup variety, kitchen necessities and kayaks, there was nothing our family needed that we couldn't find. 'The location of the cabin to resort amenities could not be beaten. After reading previous reviews, we remedied the storage and counter space by bringing our own 6’ table. Would have liked a Keurig for coffee in the morning. Sunsets were beautiful from the deck. With family there, some outdoor games would have been nice. It was a five star stay. '

'My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. '
