'Very clean, pool chemicals were to strong though.'

'The pool was very dirty way too much chlorine and dirt all on the floor the hotel was very musty and humid with the smell of dog the room itself was clean but the TV did not work half the night there were no towels in the pool area we called the front desk to tell them and they brought 3 towels with 4 of us in the pool'

'Breakfast was abysmal. The choices were cold cereal, toast, yogurt, pre-packaged oatmeal and danishes. The orange juice from the machine was horrible. There wasn't even creamer for the coffee. Late check in was after 7pm. They could not find our reservation from Expedia. They were pleasant and friendly. The next morning, our reservation still did not show up. 'The carpet was worn in spots and even missing in a spot on 3rd floor right off elevator'

'Our room was spotless, the only thing that wasn’t was the fact they’re currently doing renovations throughout the hotel. Stairs to upstairs rooms get locked at night and can only be accessed via key card, which adds some peace of mind. Staff was very helpful and if we find ourselves in Salem IN again, I’d stay here again.'

'There is no signage outside to show where you should park, and check-in is on the 3rd floor - but there is nothing to tell you. There are multiple doors - none of which have any signs stating you need to go up to the 3rd floor to check-in. Nobody told us we had to call and request housekeeping clean our rooms and, and nothing in the room to let us know. After finally learning, and calling they finally came about 4:00 PM..'

'I love hampton suites. Very roomy and well laid out. What I didn't like was the noise from the bathroom. Sounded like a water leak with a constant drip sound. I reported it and was told it was a fan making the noise. 2nd night we turned on the bathroom fan and shut the door. This worked pretty well. All in all nice stay minus the drip sound the first night. Very friendly pleasant hotel staff.'
