We welcome you to stay in our beautiful eight-bedroom home in the heart of charming Painswick - the perfect countryside escape for families and friends to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the best of the Cotswolds!

Inside, the home has been thoughtfully designed to create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Each of the eight bedrooms is individually styled, offering plenty of comfort and flexibility, from elegant king-size rooms to peaceful doubles and twins ideal for children or friends sharing. With several bathrooms, generous living spaces, and a large, fully equipped kitchen, there’s room for everyone to relax and enjoy time together while still having their own space to retreat to.

The ground floor is made for gathering - a place to share slow breakfasts around the kitchen table, long evening dinners in the dining room, or games and laughter in the snug. On cooler nights, curl up with a good book or a glass of wine, or spend cosy evenings chatting in the sitting room. The bright conservatory and enclosed vinery bring the outdoors in, offering a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or watch the sunset over the garden.

Outside, the large garden provides plenty of space for children to run and play, or for adults to simply relax and take in the peace of the countryside. Whether it’s a lazy afternoon barbecue, a picnic on the grass, or stargazing on a clear night, the garden is a wonderful extension of the home.

Step beyond the gate and you’re right in the heart of Painswick - one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds. Wander through its narrow streets lined with honey-coloured stone cottages, browse the independent shops and art galleries, or stop for coffee and cake in one of the many welcoming cafés. For walkers and nature lovers, the surrounding countryside offers endless trails, including sections of the famous Cotswold Way, all just moments from your doorstep.

Perfectly positioned between Stroud and Cheltenham, our home makes an ideal base for exploring the wider area. Spend a Saturday discovering Stroud Farmer`s market, or local farm shops, and historic towns, then return to the calm and comfort of your home-away-from-home - perhaps with a hearty meal and a film by the fire!

Whether you’re planning a family holiday, a long-overdue reunion with friends, or simply a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, our Painswick home offers the space, comfort, and charm to make it truly special. A place to slow down, breathe in the countryside air, and make lasting memories together.

**Important: To help protect our homes and guests, we may require the lead guest named on the booking to complete an independent ID verification process prior to arrival. It’s nice and easy, taking less than 5 minutes to complete. Please note this MUST be completed by the named booker. If completed by someone else, we will request for the verification to be resubmitted. Failure to complete this process correctly may result in the cancellation of the booking.

Please note: We verify your details before your booking can begin and this must be completed 48 hours prior to your stay. You’ll receive a secure link to our deposit, damage waiver and ID verification platform to complete this step. You’ll be given the choice between paying a fully refundable £300 deposit (with a small, non-refundable £5.00 fee to cover payment processing fees) or purchasing a non-refundable £30 damage waiver, which protects you against accidental damage up to £300 during your stay. Check-in information will only be sent once this is completed.**
