'I work hard and needed the perfect relaxing place. We booked a night while we were passing through town and it was exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a Vermont establishment. The beer was great, the meatballs were literally amazing. At first I felt the price of the pizza was a bit high but after eating it I had zero regrets, worth it. Our room was above the bar and provided ear buds. We wouldn’t need them on this night because we may have been the only guests....

'This property had a lot of history to tell. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was very good too.'

'Enjoyed my stay here and wish I had more than an overnight trip! It was a really cozy, well maintained property. The staff greeted me personally as soon as I walked in and then gave me total privacy for the rest of my stay. I get the sense this part of Vermont probably gets a tourism boom during ski season, but this was lovely for a summer getaway.'

'It is a lovely beautiful place, we visited at the end of snow season but I bet that this place is beautiful in fall foliage, summer and winter! Me and my best friend stayed at this amazing, cozy and family owned lodge and we will definitely be back we our friends and family. Lisa is very sweet, attentive and has two beautiful cats. '
