« The house is new and updated. The beds and linens are nice quality . It is also very clean the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Walking distance to downtown ! My only complaint is there is not a TV in the main living area for group watching of sports , etc. The main photo is the back of the house and does not show that you are about thirty feet from the major highway through Stowe. « Perfect for us & Sheba (our puppy). The cabin had everything we needed, coffee maker & grinder, stove, microwave, etc. The TV was great to get the local & national stations. Our host thought of everything from the utensils, pots & pans, dishware, spices, & other necessities to the towels, bathroom supplies, washer & dryer, storage space & outdoor amenities (grill, deck chairs, firepit...) The cabin was a perfect size for all of us, comfy chairs & sofa, A/C (we didn't need the heat) bed was OK....

« There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
