Pet-Friendly Lakeside Lodge with Kayaks and Canoe!

Welcome to Little Sand Lodge, the O’Connell Cabin Co. cabin on 79-acre Little Sand Lake — the closest of our four stays to the town of Stone Lake, Wisconsin. Built in 2023, this is the newer lodge with a fishing boat at the dock and a little more water to explore.

A few things to know first:

-We welcome up to 2 dogs. The pet fee is $150, and we ask that you declare pets on your reservation.
-The driveway coming into the cabin is long and narrow. If you are thinking of bringing your own boat, ATV, or snowmobile, get in touch so we can talk logistics.

What makes Little Sand Lodge different:

-Sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, with a finished walk-out basement. About 2,000 square feet. The fourth bedroom is an open loft.
-A fishing boat with trolling motor is included, plus 2 adult kayaks, 1 kid kayak, a pedal boat, and a canoe.
-Gas fireplaces on the main floor and in the basement.
-Brand-new appliances in a full kitchen with a center island and a dining table that seats 10.
-Large deck and screened-in porch looking out over Little Sand Lake.
-Walk-out basement with ping pong.

Location and the outdoors:

Little Sand Lodge is about 2 minutes from downtown Stone Lake and about 20 minutes from Hayward. Little Sand Lake is a 79-acre lake for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing, including Northern Pike and panfish. The cabin sits on a snowmobile and ATV route, with CAMBA trails a drive away if you want a bigger ride.

Also included: firewood for the fire pit, a Blackstone gas griddle, high-speed internet, Smart HDTVs, a king bed in the master, laundry, and books and games.
