Pet-Friendly Lakeside Cottage w/ Kayaks and Canoe!

Welcome to your cozy retreat nestled on the shores of Lower Holly Lake, in Stone Lake, Wisconsin. This open-concept cabin, built in 2021, boasts a perfect blend of modern comfort and rustic charm.



First, some quick notes:



Parking -- We kindly ask for a 4 vehicle limit. The driveway is the only place to park and it is not very big :-).



Dock Install/removal -- Our dock is located within short walking distance from the property. Check out the illustration we have in the photo gallery that shows where the dock is! We usually take the dock out of the water late October (we wait as long as we can) and we usually put it back in around mid/late April (we try to get it in as soon as we can). If you are looking at dates during either of these times of the year, don't hesitate to reach out to confirm status before booking.



If you are thinking of bringing your own boat, ATV's, snowmobiles, etc, get a hold of me so we can talk logistics. The road coming into the cabin is tight, and so is the driveway.

The cabin sits on a snowmobile and ATV trail, making it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. With its own dock, is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. This hidden gem offers a quiet escape with amazing fishing opportunities, including Northern Pike and pan fish.



For bikers, Northern Wisconsin is home to some of the best biking trails in the world! & The CAMBA (Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association) trail system offers over 300 miles of trails that wind through beautiful forests, alongside pristine lakes, and over challenging terrain. My wife Sarah and I are from Eau Claire (about an hour and a half south of the chalet) which is where we live too. We have 2 teenage kids at home, so like a lot of families, we are busy keeping up with sports, school activities, and everything in between. We identify with everyone out there who feels the need to get away every once in a while.

When you're inside the cottage, you still feel connected to the outdoors. Even though the building is brand-new, the cottage interior has that classic rustic feel. It's cozy yet at the same time, provides all the space you and your family need to spread out and enjoy yourselves. We absolutely love this cottage and our hope is that you will love it too.

We love the northwoods! We chose to buy this home because we stayed at a handful of cabin rentals nearby in years past and fell in love with this area. It didn’t take long before we dreamed of owning our own cabin someday.

Tourism is a big industry in this neck of the woods, so if you're coming to this area for the tourist attractions, our cottage is ideally located nearby. Hayward, as mentioned, is only 15 minutes to the north and is well-known for it's food, shopping, year-round events, festivals, and tourist attractions.



The nearest town however is Stone Lake, which is only a 5-minute drive straight west from the cottage. My wife and I love Stone Lake. It's smaller and quieter than Hayward (which is more of our style) however there are still many neat places to check out! If you have time, drive into town, park your car and walk around for a bit. With the pubs, antique stores, micro-brew/coffee house, and wine bar, there's plenty to do!
