'This place is amazing. We were a bit worried about no AC, but after the first warm night the temps dropped and we were fine. We absolutely loved the screened in porch, which is where we spent most of our time after a day of sightseeing. '

'Island Fox was a nice home to stay on the island and had everything we needed and was conveniently located. The screened in porch was comfortable to sit and read without the bugs. We even saw a bear! The check in process ended up being very easy however I didn’t get communication on it in advance and no response when I messaged and called on our drive up. 'We stayed here for 3 nights towards the end of August. It was extremely quiet and felt remote, which was exactly what we wanted. It is removed from the busier more tourist-oriented area of the island, which is about 15 minutes away. There is great lake access across the street, and we couldn’t believe how few people there were around the area. The cons: bed is a bit creaky, the only places to sit are on some pretty uncomfortable wicker furniture, and there were a few large black ants in the...
