Welcome to the Hanseatic city of Stendal!A small rural town with heart and charm is looking for a new home in your heart and we want to give you the opportunity to consciously perceive this atmosphere and let it work for you. The district town of Stendal is geographically located in the middle of the north-south axis from Hamburg to Magdeburg and the west-east axis from Hanover to Berlin. Due to its location, it forms the core of the Altmark region and connects the large and small cities of western and eastern Germany. The region and the Hanseatic city of Stendal offer every traveler a wealth of impressions and impressions, regardless of whether they come to us for private and / or professional reasons. You can also explore the former garrison town (1640-1994) and its surroundings from our holiday apartment with the various means of transportation (on foot, bike, car, train). With us travelers find every color a source of inspiration and security without ignoring the advantages of civilization. The village founded by the Brandenburg Margrave Albrecht the Bear in 1160 AD, after which an old barracks is named, is located a little south of the old village (about a 12-minute walk from the apartment). The first economic upswing then opened up with the Stendal Seafarers' Guild around AD 1300 and the later Hanseatic League (1358-1518). Marien is to be found (about a 17-minute walk from the apartment). The city also offers various churches from a religious perspective. These include the Jacobi, Petri and Katharinenkirche, which through the Stiftskirche ("Dom") St. Nikolaus is added (about 25 minutes walk from the apartment). This means that the historic city center can be reached in a few minutes and Shopping invites. In addition, three museums reveal themselves to inquisitive people: the Altmärkisches Museum, the Winckelmann Museum and the Landesfeuerwehrmuseum (between 5 and 25 minutes' walk from the apartment). Among other things, the Altmärkisches Museum shows exhibits on the history and cultural history of the city of Stendal and the Altmark. Another special feature is the State Fire Brigade Museum.

Apartment 2:
Our apartment 2HausflurWith opening and entering FeWo2 you dive into a 40 m² 2-room apartment, which you walk through the light-flooded hallway. On your left you will find a cloakroom with a full-length mirror weather station and reading material for bookworms without ammunition. Please note our information posted here. Slip into a world that gives you a first feeling of security. From here you can also access our other elements of the living area of apartment 2, such as the bathroom, the bedroom and living area. Directly opposite the front door you can reach our open and gray-silver kitchen, which is equipped with all amenities, such as a combination cupboard with an oven at eye level and a refrigerator. This is followed by the sink, the dishwasher and the stove. Our kitchen has enough dishes for several people and small electrical appliances such as coffee machines or kettles. If something should fall on the floor here, you can remove it quickly and easily using our robust floor. To the right of the kitchen is our dining area, which is furnished with four comfortable chairs and two flexible square tables.  By default, both tables are put together into a small table and stand in front of a cream-colored wall square with a picture that depicts the morning ritual of drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. Regardless of this, we invite you to use the board for other purposes, such as working, eating or playing. Depending on where you sit, you either overlook the entire room or look out of one of the two windows. Between the two windows next to the dining area there is also a wall clock and a television below, so that you can watch your television program from almost every angle in the room. With a further turn to the right and thus between the TV and the apartment door is the very comfortable and fold-out couch on which other guests of the apartment or can fall asleep in the evening in front of the TV. And should you ever dream of a flower meadow with butterflies, our couch corner offers you the appropriate atmosphere with its motifs and pictures. A round coffee table, consisting of a former cable reel, provides further information, such as a Stendal city map, further information on events in the region and magazines. You reach the bathroom via the door that is between the cloakroom and the kitchen and then please keep to the left until you see the sliding door of the bathing area. Here behind you can discover everything that makes your stay with us more pleasant. Starting from a wellness shower, toilet and sink, you are greeted in a warm and friendly white with gray accents. Here you will find a heater for your towels and also underfloor heating, which makes the time before and after the shower thermally as pleasant as possible. Our shower bridges the gap between these two periods with the different settings for the desired spa effect, which will definitely bring you closer to your relaxation. Should you ever need an article from the sanitary area, you are welcome to look in the bedroom closets. The most necessary items, such as toilet paper, can be found here. You get to the bedroom before you open the sliding door on your left. In front of you is a room with two single beds with the dimensions 90x200 cm, which not only corresponds to current health principles, but also has a perfect mix of softness and hardness: soft as a feather that glides smoothly and hard enough that not only Your sleep, but possibly also your back will be happy about it. The sleeping area comes up with warm brown and ocher tones, which are complemented with various things, such as two bedside tables, a figure, an armchair and a music system. With us you can easily dream of countries - even if they are nearby. There is a two-door closet opposite the bed. You are welcome to store your things here during your stay. The cabinet also houses other utensils that you can use if you like. These include additional blankets and sanitary ware. From here you can start or end the day with a look in our garden. In the sense of the poem, which you can discover as wallpaper in this room, we wish you a pleasant stay full of knowledge and inspiration based on love, faith and confidence.

Arrival is possible from 14:00 to 18:00 and departure from 09:00 to 12:00.
