'Upon arrival the building seemed deserted. No sign, no people, nothing. I waited a while, then noticed a note outside the door saying that I needed to call somebody (which is very expensive from abroad). A lady answered who didn't understand the word check in. 'Maja was an excellent host! Travel delays had us arrive much later than planned and she was ready to get us settled quickly into our room. Maja provided detailed information about getting around the city. The location is excellent. It's close to several bus stops making it easy to get jus about anywhere you want to go. 'The area to get in was really hard to find. When I finally found it, I thought for a second it was a crack den, but that's only the stairway area. After that it turned out no one was there in working hours, so I asked a very kind stranger for help, after other strangers helped me finding the door. Overall such a lovely place to stay and the location is such a prime area, close to fantastic restaurants, bars, grocery stores and nightlife. Super safe and quite at night as well. The staff was also super helpful and so very kind, they even arranged our ride to the airport! Would stay here again and I couldn't recommend this place more!'

'Location is great but challenging. Hotel is on a dead end street; however, pedestrians can walk through a narrow passage. Skadarlija is just down the hill. A great buffet breakfast/brunch/lunch at Šumatovac up the corner of Cetinjska, garden is fine. Staff are extremely helpful. TV has full cable channels for the region with Arena Sports 10 channels. Veneti is own by same people as Public House, 17min walk at Knez Miloš. So, if you are alone and do not mind a tight spiral staircase...
