'We were there 1 night but if it had been a longer stay we would have used the kitchen. Kitchen was great but it was light on tools , pots and things to make preparing food easy. No paper towels sponge to scrub dishes. A full complement of in shower products… maybe a fixed to the wall? Blankets provided for pullout sofa were great! But didn’t feel fresh. Overall we loved our stay'

'The hotel is very, very much overrated by Expedia. The price is much too high for a hotel without a lounge, restaurant and bar. Only once in a three days the bed linen is replaced. The location of the hotel is isolated: there is nothing on walking distance. But most shocking is the amount waste created by a simple breakfast; the hotel successfully prevents any dishwashing. It is far from sustainable!'

'The site is beautiful and very secluded! Visitors must have a vehicle that can drive on dirt, rocky road that maybe muddy. I made it through with a minivan w/ AWD but I was nervous in some tight spots. Not a location for large vehicles to get through. Once at the site there was plenty of space to maneuver a vehicle. 'Was on our bucket list and glad we finally made the reservation. Loved this B&B for a romantic getaway. Well maintained property with historic appeal. Welcoming staff on arrival - felt personal and inviting. The Hampshire room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Old English vibe. Dinner and the complimentary breakfast were delicious. Enjoyed walking around the property and playing some of the outdoor games. Definitely will be back.'

'This was so beautiful!! We absolutely loved it. We had a nice fire in the evening, grilled some burgers, and showed off our horrible boating skills (honestly it was fun to just row in circles and laugh, but the river is calm and has lovely views). It is easy to drive to the market for anything you need or other small towns for a day trip. We had minor issues with outside lights but it made it more fun to see things by firelight and fireflies. Thank you!'
