'Las habitaciones del departamento tenían las alfombras asquerosas, manchadas, además el olor dentro era nauseabundo. Conseguí que la anfitriona nos cambiará de departamento, el cual estaba un poco un poco mejor, pero aún así deficiente. Otro punto en contra es que tiene muy poca ropa de cama, y nada de calefacción así que fue una noche terrible a pesar que dormimos con ropa, el frío fue insoportable.'

'Prima mooi hotel op een rustige groene locatie maar op 1,3 km voldoende restaurantjes te vinden. Lekker ontbijt, mooi zwembad, goed restaurant en ruime kamers. Service was prima maar de taxi voor naar het vliegveld was er niet op de afgesproken tijd, na 20 minuten wachten hebben we een normale taxi aangehouden.'

'Hostal Rio Amazonas is in een leuk oud koloniaal gebouw met charme. Het heeft een gezellige , kleine patio waar je kunt ontbijten etc. De staf is heel aardig en behulpzaam. De ligging is handig om de stad te verkennen. Het ligt aan een drukke weg met dag en nacht veel voorbijrazend verkeer. Er zijn gelukkig wel dubbele ramen waardoor je weinig last hebt van het verkeerslawaai of vraag om een kamer, die niet aan de straat ligt. Verwacht alleen geen moderne luxe, ook gaan airco's. Het is er wel...

'Room was very cleab and for the price, it was great as long as the condition is maintained. The AC worked great in my room and again, great price for the place I was in. The gym was solid and the people looked good. The neighborhood isnt the prettiest but its still close to a lot of nice places in Santiago and easily walkable. Would def recommend for this price and this general price range. '

'Hotel ligt in buurt die vanaf uur of 16 een en al gezelligheid is. Pleintje met Terrasjes aan de overkant van hotel, muzikanten op straat en kleine braderie. Hotel zelf is oase van rust, erg nette kamers en voor ons na lange vlucht heerlijke plek om bij te komen. Balie personeel heel erg behulpzaam.'

The town's historical centre is 10 minutes away by walking. The hosts are friendly, and your breakfast (very nice!) will be delivered to your room at the time of your choice. RECOMMENDED!!'

'If you are coming to Santiago you MUST stay here! The area is the best in Santiago - we felt so safe and there were so many walkable options for food and drink around. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic - it is offered in the cafe just under the hotel. The guys on reception, Francis and Nicholas, are amazing. So kind, patient and go above and beyond. There is no lift in the hotel but they assisted us with luggage up and down. I couldn’t recommend this hotel...
