So hereâs the thing: This place probably used to be majestic, and the more people that stay there, the better I assume it will get, from the revenue generated. Itâs currently mid-renovation, and only one of the big houses is even open. So youâre basically getting a studio apartment (maybe there are bigger suites) on the side of a Caribbean mountain (my cabbie said, âthis is just a little hillâŠâ). You CAN see the city and the water, but neither is all that close so rent your own car or spend more on taxis than the room. If youâre looking for a resort, this ainât it. (We just went down to them tho.)
BUT if youâre like me, and what youâre looking for is an experience like the people who live in the place where you went, this charming little spot is great. The room interior was clean, comfortable, plenty secludedâgranted we were there in the relative off-season, a mid-March weekend stay. So my five stars are probably a little misleading, but I would still recommend Boundless Bliss
