We had a delightful stay at this airy, immaculate cottage. The living room was a relaxing space for TV viewing with plenty of seating. The bedroom had the most comfortable king-size bed we have experienced in a rental. Our host was easy to communicate with and the check-in process was seamless. The location was perfect for accessing the vibrant downtown area and pier. We would definitely book this cottage again when we return to St. Petersburg.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was close to restaurants and local craft breweries all within walking distance. Was sunny but chilly during our stay so we enjoyed the privacy of the backyard fencing that made it very comfortable to relax.

Staying here gave me a wonderful home away from home. While there were a few small hiccups upon arrival, Kelly and Noriko were very attentive to my needs.Located in a charming historic district with walkability to many eateries, breweries, and bars, the apartment was just a ten minute walk to my workshop facility. It was nice to come "home" to a comfortable place after a long day. To be fair, the side of the apartment is on a busier street with audible noise in the evening and morning. Lucky for me, I sleep with earplugs!While the cleaning crew could have been a bit more thorough with details like cleaning the drawers and cabinets, the linens were clean and of superior quality and the bed was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen came fully equipped with dishes, utensils, and pans...minus the corkscrew. The only other thing I missed was a dishwasher!I also enjoyed the patio area with a family size table and comfortable lounge chair I used for reading and happy hour. The laundry is just off the patio so you do need to go outside via the bedroom door for access. Since I was staying solo, I can’t speak to the comfort of sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area, however I did use it as a reading nook, so I can say I could feel the metal frame while sitting.I had a wonderful stay in Historic Kenwood and was happy with the quick response from both Kelly and Noriko during the booking process and my stay. I’m planning to return next year and would definitely stay here again!

The listing was very deceiving. Unfortunately the noise level was unbearable . The side of the residence faces a four lane highway just about 25’ away from the property line. The SpeedLimit was 35 but drivers would easily drive 55 and up. I was really looking forward to winding down which was impossible. The headboard of the bed backs to the wall facing the road which made it even worse. It was nearly impossible to open a window for fresh air because of the circumstances. There were also issues with the Internet and both televisions. I personally do not watch television but I thought I would turn the TV on as a buffer the noise but there were issues. Most off of the channels required a membership which I did not have and the Internet was down more often than not. There were no toiletries except for a bar of soap. No shampoo, toothpaste or other basic essentials. In all I would not recommend this location if you are looking for a peaceful place to wind down and enjoy yourself. Don’t be fooled by photos because you will easily be disappointed

Over all good stay. The rug in the photo was not there, so no rugs (that’s ok). Cleanliness, average (to me), the bathroom is a bit small, bumped the towel bar and it fell off the wall. We tried to fix it, but we did not have any tools to tighten the set screw (sorry). The WIFI for using our computer and streaming of the TV was not good at all, we had to reset the connection several times and even upon resetting it was slow and often would disconnect again. The ceiling in the bedroom is in need of repair. Not sure if the owner is local and has inspected the property, if so then they are aware, if not, I would recommend an inspection. The location was great, close to everything and short drive to many places of interest in the area.

This apartment was awesome for our 5 day stay. It is conveniently located to everything we needed. Grocery, night life, beaches and business. Would definitely be a go to the next time we need to come back to St. Petersburg

Awesome location, off the busier streets but still very central location. Nice to have the designated parking space. Several other rental options did not have as good a parking situation and I'm really glad we ended up here going in and out frequently.

Perfect for our needs

Great location in relation to family we were visiting. All our requirements were satisfied…clean place to sleep and bathe. Parking was easy and entering house was easy with code. Our only complaint was the noise from traffic and activity outside. We will definitely consider this place again for future visits.

nice place

the property is all what we needed. We stayed for 4 nights/5days with our two little dogs. The location is great, I like it where it has a private fenced in backyard and private parking, few minutes drive from the beach, clean area/house, big plus that it has a kitchen so we can cook whenever we wanted to and a washer and dryer also. Love it and will definitely come back and stay hopefully on our next visit to St. Petersburg Florida.Thank you also to the host who was very easy to get up with when we needed something.

Perfect retreat

This cozy, bright, and welcoming space was exactly what I needed during my stay in St. Pete. I was traveling with my dog, and we both felt comfortable and right at home. The place had everything I needed, from thoughtful touches to practical amenities, and the bed was absolutely perfect—super comfortable and restful. The location was ideal with easy access to great food and shopping, and as a runner, I loved being able to head out for beautiful morning jogs each day. I’d happily stay here again.

Actually there was a surprise. The bed linens and mattress exceeded expectation. Crisp high quality sheets and ergonomic pillows! Can’t beat the location in Kenwood. I’ve stayed here before which says something.

Perfect introduction to St Pete!

I loved the property with outdoor space in the back as well as shared outdoor space in the front. Every day I walked to different local bakeries and restaurants and there are dozens I didn’t get to in my seven days. The house was very tidy with so much natural light that I think my sleep patterns actually improved! All in all a great stay, would absolutely stay there again and a very understanding and patient property manager who helped me get situated when I realized I hadn’t completed registration properly. This is the first property I have ever rented and she was so patient with me well after business hours and I appreciated it so much!

Centrally located with easy parking

This was a nice, spacious 1-bedroom apartment that's fairly close to downtown. There are some great restaurants nearby, some within walking distance. Also, the dedicated parking spot in the back was very convenient. The bed was comfortable. The only potential downside is that it's next to a main road, so you can hear noise from the road at night sometimes, but it does eventually quiet down. I would definitely stay here again.

Attractive and comfortable

This property is very attractively decorated, spacious, and comfortable (good bed, appropriate furniture, etc. The location is mixed—in a nice neighborhood and walking distance to good restaurants and museums, but when the side street is busy it can get noisy.

Good Place

This place is clean. Near some entertainment to walk to. Not near restaurants to walk to. The place is old, with some wear and tear, but has been updated a bit. It is private even though on a busy street. The description said it has a coffee pot, but it is a Keurig. The TVs are both different and are both smart tv's. They do not seem to be user friendly. The paperwork with how to use the tv's was not accurate. I could not get local channels. I could not download my own aps. The VRBO contact was not able to help me figure out the tv's., so we were unable to use them as we would have liked to. However, she was very friendly. The main door for going in and out has a limited secure lock. But all in all, it was OK.

Calm After The Storm

We were booked to stay for a month starting just 5 days after hurricane Milton. Noriko and Kelly did a GREAT job of communicating property status of electricity/area access. They had the place clean and power came back on one day before arrival! SO grateful !!

Temp Stay Before Moving Out of State

This place is great. Best place I’ve ever stayed at outside of my own home. I didn’t really want to leave. But it was time for me to move out of it. I had to keep extending a few days at a time because of other issues. They were so great very friendly outgoing easiest to work with. And then planning to come back again and I want to stay in place. It’s convenient to everything. Five stars and down.

Return Visitor

This is my second time staying at this location in St. Pete. Love it. Walking distance to Tropicana Field and I have loved the short walk to Trophy Fish and Cage Brewery. Definitely will go back and the owner and manager are excellent to work with on all items.
