'Het hotel heeft betere tijden gekend en echt een update nodig. We waren iets te vroeg, er werd veel nieuwe gedaan de kamer klaar te maken dat was heel prettig. Minder qua service was het ontbijt. Dat was al zeer karig maar werd ook niet bijgevuld dus er was vrij snel zo goed als niks meer. Het lijkt erop dat de dame van de receptie ook het ontbijt niet doen. Geen handige combi. 'We were visiting family in SRF and picked this property because of its location. Couldn’t be happier with our choice. Very clean and well appointed. The shower was very nice complete with a variety of body wash, etc. Very large and comfortable couch. We used the king sized bed which was also very comfortable. 'We stayed for two nights during homecoming for SUNY Canton. It was a girls trip to see our freshman play volleyball and Susan went above and beyond to make our stay both comfortable and memorable. The home is charming, clean and comfortable. We had farm fresh eggs from the host’s very own chickens. The host left us everything we needed to make eggs on English muffins. 'This stay was a homecoming for me, since my parents had lived right on the St. Lawrence, and nearly the entirety of my late mom's family still live nearby. The area is largely agricultural, with many dairy farms and green pastures. It is a truly beautiful part of NY State and we were very much looking forward to getting back there to visit.
