Beautiful island getaway!

This property was outstanding! Spacious, clean, and just breathtaking views. The big porch overlooking the water is so peaceful and relaxing. Elyse made sure we had everything we needed and even had floats and snorkels for our children. When we arrived on the island, Elyse made sure there was someone waiting for us to show us the way to the villa. 5 stars all the way for Nancy's Folly!

This beautifully decorated and impeccably clean villa offers everything I could possibly need for a relaxing and memorable St. John vacation.The million-dollar view overlooking Rendezvous Bay is nothing short of spectacular. I loved waking up to the serene turquoise waters and enjoying coffee on the spacious balcony, where the ocean breeze was always perfect. The location is ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to Cruz Bay's restaurants and grocery stores.The villa itself is wonderfully appointed, providing all the comforts of home and more. It's well-stocked with everything you need, from the kitchen to a fantastic array of beach gear.A significant highlight of my experience was the outstanding property manager, Elise. She's an absolute gem—friendly, incredibly helpful, and always available to answer questions or provide local tips, making check-in a breeze. Amazing stay at Nancy's Folly

We had such a wonderful week at Nancy's Folly! Check in was very easy - Elise met us at the ferry dock and helped us get to the house and get settled, even helping us get dinner, since we got in sort of late! The house is beautiful, better even than the pictures. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and nice. The kitchen was well stocked for the cooking we did. Having laundry on-site was especially helpful. And the view from the balcony is stunning. We rented a jeep and were glad for the strength of the vehicle, as there are some very steep hills to climb to get to the house from Cruz Bay. It was a little tricky to back out of the driveway (or to try to maneuver the jeep to back into the driveway), but we got better at that as the week went on.I snorkeled multiple days in Rendezvous Bay, entering the water at Klein Bay. The entry was rocky and somewhat challenging, but the snorkeling was good, especially out toward Ditleff Beach. It was so great to have good snorkeling so close to home - just a 5 min drive down to Klein Bay.Elise was an excellent host - available and helpful, very knowledgeable about the island. We would definitely stay here again!

Just perfect!

My daughter (age 15) and I stayed for a week at Nancy's Folly. It was perfect! The villa was well appointed and had everything we needed and more. We didn't need the AC once, the breeze coming off the ocean was perfect and there's nothing like waking up to a view. The property manager, Elise, was quick to answer any questions. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting St. John.

AMAZING PROPERTY!

We fell in love with this place and are already making plans to return. Our top 3 reasons for our 5 star rating is as follows:1.million dollar view 2. Super clean3. Wonderful location to amenties, beaches and restaurants and yet it was very quiet and peaceful on the property itselfWe also loved waking up and spending time on the balcony in the morning drinking coffee and reading. This property also includes all of the items needed for a day at the beach! The property manager made herself readily available if we needed her and met us at the car barge to show us how to get to the property. The house was more than we expected. Beautifully decorated. Fresh flowers in vases . Local and historical art work . Everything you needed for beach, snorkel gear, float toys, coolers, beach chairs. Did I mention the view? spectacular.

My husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law stayed here for a week in this lovely well equipped rental with a fabulous view overlooking Rendezvous Bay. From the start, Elise was most helpful. We loved every minute here!

More than an excellent value

We are a family of three adults and the house more than met our needs. It is well furnished and comfortable with a gorgeous view. It is situated a few minutes drive to Cruz Bay and grocery stores but far enough away to be peaceful. Communicating with Elise, the property manager, was easy and she was incredibly helpful. We would definitely stay there again having been to St. John five times now.

Love-Love-Love this Location!

Nancy's Folly is the perfect location -- mid-height on hill, south side so not too windy and a mere 8-minute drive into Cruz Bay and its restaurants and shops. The driveway into Nancy's Folly is steep but fully paved and otherwise a dream compared to others on the island I've experienced. But the #1 feature that lured me in to Nancy's Folly: The Porch! With the hot Caribbean sun, shade coverage is important, and the long, covered porch -- complete with outside dining for 4, loungers and conversational "hang out" seating -- is absolute perfection. I spent a lot of time enjoying the porch and its beautiful views, including watching the cute little yellow Bananaquit birds that flew up to dine at the bird feeder. The A/C in the bedrooms worked well and with the ceiling fans made sleeping wonderful. However, the un-air-conditioned main living space could get really warm when the breeze was soft. Elise, the property manager, was responsive to unanticipated issues and made amazingly speedy efforts to correct. Thank you Nancy's Folly and Elise for a very enjoyable week!

Place was absolutely perfect for me and my family , couldnt have asked for anything more , location was great not far at all from town or beaches but still quiet the view is amazing Elise was amazing verry helpful ,happy host. When we come back we wont be looking for another place thats for sure .

The villa was extremely clean and well maintained. It was actually nicer than the pictures indicate. Great view. Close to Cruz Bay. The contact person who lives downstairs was helpful, informative, and accommodating (and we barely knew she was there). We definitely recommend.

Beautiful home and views with expansive deck for sunrise and morning coffee, and late afternoon cocktails after long day exploring the island and beaches. Great Place on St John’s

Beautiful gem of a get away!

This was a beautiful home with everything you could possibly need right at your fingertips! It was sparkling clean and comfortable. Views off the balcony were stunning and the neighborhood was charming and quiet - tucked away from the main areas, but close enough to access the whole island! Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy's Folly Villa. Elise coordinated with us to wait for us at the jeep rental place and show us to the rental. She also gave us tips for restaurants and things to do. The location was wonderful, short drive to Cruz Bay, great views. The kitchen was well stocked to cook a few dinners. They had all the beach things we could want: chairs, coolers, flippers, even snorkels. We hope to be back soon!

Pictures don’t do this place justice

This property is absolutely incredible! It’s even nicer in person than it appears in photos. The AC units in the bedrooms work incredibly well and make it very comfortable to sleep at night. The main area can get pretty warm, even with the breeze rolling through, but we were fine with it because we spent most of our time in the villa out on that beautiful patio admiring the view. It’s a steep climb to the villa, but that should be expected in St John. Would absolutely recommend this villa and I can’t wait to return!
