Het geluid van de golven die op het rif breken, vult het huis en verse passaatwinden koelen je door de zon doordrenkte huid. Met alle gemakken die aan u worden gedacht, kunt u gemakkelijk ontspannen op wat uw jaarlijkse reis naar St. John wordt.

    Deze door de eigenaar gebouwde villa betekent dat elk detail is gedacht om te profiteren van een spectaculair uitzicht op de oceaan, alle gemakken van thuis, en meer. Gelegen in Coral Bay aan het oostelijke uiteinde van St. John op het relaxte privé-schiereiland Fortsberg met snelle toegang tot de stranden en wandelpaden van het Virgin Islands National Park. Breng uw dag op verkenning en ga naar huis met het serene geluid van de oceaan tijdens warme nachten terwijl u onder het prieel zit of aan het zwembad op het terras ontspant.

We had an excellent stay at our St. John VRBO! The property was beautiful, well-maintained, and made for such a special trip. The location, views, and overall experience exceeded our expectations.The only minor issue was some communication regarding the pool, as it was not quite ready when we arrived. However, everything else was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely recommend this property to others visiting St. John!

Beautiful home, gorgeous view, exactly as described. We were there in the beginning of june and the pool was warm especially in the afternoon. There are beach chairs, coolers, and ice packs available. We did have an issue getting a phone signal but with the wifi it wasn’t a big deal for us. The road is rough but just make sure you have 4 wd and you’ll be fine. You are right by skinny legs and 10-20 minutes from all the best beaches

Beautiful tranquil setting

Great view in a private setting not too far from all of the pristine beaches. Family enjoyed the pool and space as well.

The view was outstanding and the Pool area was great. The Kitchen was large and a good gathering place. Driveway and entrance road were steep and when wet a 4-wheel drive is needed. Also, the house could use a generator for Blackouts.

The Secret Seashell is perfection!

We had another excellent stay at the Secret Seashell and hope to come back again soon. The grounds and the house are beautiful. Everything you need and more is there for you. We love the location as it is so close to Skinny Legs and Coral Bay but very secluded and quiet except for the waves lapping the shore. The views are amazing, It really is perfect!

We loved our stay at secret seashell! The location was very private and you could hear the waves from the house. Jared and Keri were very responsive. Loved that only the bedrooms were air conditioned and the outside living room made our stay! Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I wanted a home base we could chill at as much as we wanted, but that we could hit hikes & beaches from as well. Secret Seashell nailed it for us. The real thing is as good or better than the expectations the listing gave us.

Excellent stay

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Communication was excellent from check in to check out. We had a very small issue come up and the communication and fix was incredibly fast. Jared and team were great to work with. Our family of 5 including 3 kids under the age of 10 stayed and the swimming pool was a huge perk. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is immaculate, but the location is world class. This piece of property is elite. You will not believe it until you experience. Sun rise every morning and hearing the waves of the ocean is the best. Close to Coral Bay restaurants and all the good beaches!

Sweet secret seashell

Lovely property perched on a hill, facing the ocean and sunrise. Woke up to sunny days mostly, but even a rainy one was beautiful from bed or front veranda. Spacious accommodations, infinity pool overlooking several bays. Well equipped kitchen. Clean and laid up to be perfect for two couples or a family. Jared and colleagues were very responsive. Resident iguana was fun to watch in garden areas.

Ultimate relaxation!

The villa was beautiful. The view is beyond stunning. Jared the owner was very accommodating and always available. The location is remote but we were looking for that. If you want to have dinners in some of the better restaurants on the island, however, it is a 30-35 minute drive on winding steep roads. Highly recommend renting a 4 wheel drive Jeep because part of the road to the villa is not paved and steep. Overall an exceptional experience. Highly recommend!

This is a quintessential St John home with lovely stonework, beautiful exterior, with several covered porches and screen doors for the cross breeze and a great pool area. The house has wonderful ocean views and beautiful landscaping all around. It would be perfect for a family vacation or for three couples - there are three bedrooms, the primary with an en-suite and two additional queen rooms with separate bathrooms. The pool area has very accommodating and comfortable seating both in the sun and shade. This is a gated home which keeps out the goats, with a parking area large enough that you accommodate several vehicles. The location of this house provided quick access to Coral Bay restaurants, South shore, East end and the North shore beaches.

Stunning, Thoughtfully Stocked Home with Amazing Views & Vibes!

Our stay at this beautiful home was perfect! The drive up is a bit of a trek, but it’s well worth it for the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views. The home itself is incredibly clean and thoughtfully designed, with unique shell accents woven throughout the structure, adding a special island touch.One of the things we appreciated most was how well-stocked it was—pots, pans, seasonings, trash bags, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, and so many little things that made our stay seamless and stress-free. It truly felt like a home away from home!The outdoor space is just as amazing, with a gorgeous pool to relax in and soak up the views. And the sound system was Next level! Syncing our phones and playing our favorite music throughout the house made the experience even more enjoyable.If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and truly special place to stay, this is it! We can’t recommend it enough and would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful House and Perfect View!

The photos actually don't do this property justice. The view from the pool was perfect - framed by gorgeous landscaping. A great size for us, our daughter and my parents for the Christmas holiday! My parents are older, so they took the main floor master bedroom. Our daughter and us took the downstairs bedrooms. Comfy beds, clean clean clean, with really soft sheets. The road to the house, I will warn, is pretty rough, but a Jeep will get you there with no issues. Personally, I like that the road is a bit beaten up - it makes for more seclusion and privacy. A wonderful house!

Quiet and lovely

We stayed for a week in March 2023. We were looking for a property in the East side of St. John that was going to give us some solitude. The Secret Seashell was perfect for this. For starters, the landscaping was just beautiful and the constant presence of hummingbirds was such a fun thing to have. The pool was super clean. The inside of the property is exactly as is appears in the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are clean and comfy. The porch is perfect for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Having laundry on site was great. The grill was new and clean. It was great having coolers, beach chairs, and towels to use. It was just very easy. I really only have positive things to say about The Secret Seashell.

Beautiful property!

This is a beautiful property located in Coral Bay. This was our first trip to St John. Kyle greeted us and was extremely helpful with restaurants and navigating the island. The property was clean and well maintained. You definitely need a 4x4 to navigate the road to the property and it is a 25 minute drive to Cruz bay. We liked the privacy and the beautiful views. This place worked well with our teen/adult children, however I would not recommend for families with small children. The bedrooms below are accessible by an outdoor entrance only. Also the bedrooms are air conditioned but the main living area is not. We spent a lot of time outside until the bugs or the heat became unbearable. The pool was beautiful and we used it often. Beautiful home

Overall the property was very nice. As many others mentioned, the A/C is only in the bedrooms, but this was not an issue for us. Not sure if it was the time of year, but we had between 15-25 mph winds the whole trip, so the living area stayed cool enough for us. Although less than 1 year old, the dishwasher did not work and could not be repaired during our stay. We found that many of the dishes were not clean upon arrival. Likely an issue of the dishwasher, but nonetheless, the cleaning people should have noticed this. The mgt team was very responsive. We considered all of this a minor annoyance and it would not stop us from recommending this home as it was overall nicely laid out and well appointed. The views didn't disappoint either.
