« We loved our stay here. Very clean and spacious for a couple with an awesome view and the breeze was the icing on the cake. Our host allowed us to use their beach chairs which were brand new so we didn’t have to pay for rentals at the beaches. We also had access to a small carry cooler which came is great for snacks and water. We gave five stars to all and would definitely stay here again. »

« Really enjoyed my stay. The hosts were super nice and beyond helpful. It was super nice being right up the road from Salt Pond Beach. You’re on the less crowded side of the island so you get to see a lot of wildlife which I loved. My only suggestion is if you stay here you almost have to rent a car. »

« Liked the fact that there were two separate apartments but could gather in the evening on the top deck and enjoy the views. My brother and his adult son stayed in one unit and my husband and I were in the other. The area was quiet and felt safe. It was easy to find with the directions given. I have been to St. John’s several times and the Fish Bay Area is my favorite area to stay. »

« Overall the house was very lovely and close to Cruz Bay! We loved the beds and the view of the home. When we tried to find the house via Google maps, it was not the right spot. You need to ask your taxi driver to take you to Samuel Cottages. The check-in process was a bit difficult, but we had a helpful tax driver who didn’t leave until we got into the property. Thank you! »

« The place is small and there are a lot of stairs! But the views are stunning and there is everything you need for cooking basic meals, outdoor sunbathing, open air showers, and a very complete guide for things to do and places to go on the Coral Bay end of the island. The bedroom is a bit awkward with the bed up several uneven steps, but it's quite comfortable. Overall a great stay! »

« It was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the main land. It was clean and quiet. The outside area was amazing. The outdoor pool area lighting was great, but pop the lights off for a few minutes to really take in the gorgeous night sky without the light pollution we have become accustomed to. It is breathtaking. »

« We had a great time staying at Amanda’s. The house was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the sheets were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook dinner for us. She is extremely accurate with the description of the listing and the intricacies of Island life. The power went out for two days during our stay, but Amanda was very communicative before hand and prepared us with water flashlights and a battery operated fan. « We loved the property. The staff was outstanding and the grounds and accommodations were immaculate. We will definitely go back again. There is a restaurant that offers takeout. Cruz bay is close enough to walk, but there is a hill to come back up on the return. The shuttle will pick you up and bring you back to the ferry but no transportation otherwise.
