'We were there for four months this winter and loved that house everyday. The great room is so light filled but we also enjoyed the small den with the fireplace on rainy days. Our host very very friendly and responsive. This place is a real find.'

'Just a wonderful stay all around. Great location to then visit much of the NC Western Mountains. We did day excursions to Linville Falls, Boone, Banner Elk, Linville, Grandfather Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very inviting home with a lovely patio area. Wonderful breakfast each day with much more than we could eat. And extremely tasty to say the least. Great weekend.'

'This is an excellent property. It is located on a remote side-road in the North Carolina mountains, almost no traffic. As the name suggests, the view of the nearby mountains and valleys is amazing. Wish the weather had been cool enough to build a fire in the living-area wood stove! Very comfortable and well-furnished. We hope to be able to return at some point in the future for a longer stay.'
