'Absolutely charming and very well equipped small home. A lot of small amenities to make it welcoming. Didn't realize it had steps, that was our fault for not checking. We found the registration process to be confusing trying to do it through Expedia as it was a vbro. The owner went out of her way to be helpful.'

'Beautiful property! We enjoyed the "swimming hole" in the heat and the kitchen was fully stocked. I would recommend an SUV or all wheel drive vehicle to be able to get in and out of the steep drive, but we loved the secluded feel of the property.'

'Great hosts that were super helpful. I was working on a trail build at Camp Grier, so location was perfect.'

'This was the cutest little place and great for a couples get away. Very close to the river which was nice to listen to at night. It was very quiet and still felt very private even with the owner right next door. Burnsville was such a treat to explore and even though it rained the whole time we were not bored and did lots of exploring! I really enjoyed the bathtub and getting a good soak while i read my book. Kerry was the nicest and the whole property is beautiful. Would stay here again!'

'Great house with lots of space, and Chris was amazing with communications throughout our visit. Home was even better than the photos!'

'We loved the peaceful sound of the creek. Such a relaxing spot. Close to town but without traffic. We even got to watch a fawn running around and playing in the creek. We look forward to returning soon.'

'extremely peaceful location and super cozy along with amazing kitchen appliances updated bathroom. I felt like I was at a high-end hotel.'

'I have rented many places and I’m ranking this as one of the best rentals I have ever rented.1. Communication: Ben was extremely responsive and friendly.2. Location: The town of Old Fort has gone through a lot in the past few years, but that has not diminished its charm and resilience. The house sits on a beautiful creek and has a great view of the sunrise which we enjoyed from the screened in porch. The house is walking distance from downtown. The downtown has several breweries with great...

'We loved our stay! We felt right at home! The set up was perfect with living and eating space downstairs and sleeping upstairs. The beds were beyond comfortable! Thank you for giving us a home away from home! We will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Banner Elk!'

'The house was exactly as listed. It is older, but well cared for. It was clean and spacious, and conveniently located near winter activities. My kids LOVED the video games and large yard. We enjoyed our stay and would rent here again '

'This home is a great place to stay. Peaceful and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains.'
