Welcome to The Whistlin’ Terrapin—your serene Lake Anna getaway! Just a short 3 minute walk brings you to the lake, where you will love swimming and jumping right from the dock into the deep water.

Rainy day? No problem! Enjoy our outdoor covered game barn with a propane fire pit. You will have fun playing ping-pong, foosball, darts, and all of our numerous yard games can be played dry under cover.

Our home is tucked away in a quiet gated neighborhood near the center of Lake Anna, on the public (the larger side with more services - restaurants, stores, marinas).

* Lake access, with boat ramp and four day use docks (no overnight parking). A short 3 minute walk to the deep water for boating or playing!
* Yard games galore: cornhole, ladder toss, yardzee (giant yahtzee for the yard), outdoor bocce and spikeball.
* Family-operated; not a huge, impersonal company. We are actually reachable (personal cell phone number provided).
* Wood burning indoor fireplace

* Free cut firewood for the fire pit
* 1-acre property with a fully fenced-in backyard
* Spacious covered deck with seating area for outdoor dining and gas grill (propane included, with an extra)
* Happy to accommodate early check-in/late check-out, if the scheduling fits. Can't guarantee it, but let's talk a few days before you arrive.
* Keyless entry (and physical backup on site in case of any issues)


Sleeping Arrangements:
* 3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms, all on one level.
* All linens and towels included. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.
* Master Bedroom – King bed, 40” Roku Smart TV, and a private en-suite bathroom
* Bedroom 2 & Bedroom 3 – Each with a twin-over-queen L-shaped bunk bed
* Living Room – Queen-sized luxury sleeper sofa with a new memory foam mattress (yes, it's actually comfortable!)

55” Roku Smart TV in the living room. Roku offers a wide selection of free shows and channels to enjoy. It features a convenient Guest Mode, allowing you to log in with your own streaming accounts—and it automatically logs you out when you check out. Also, only one remote!
