  • Cette propriété de 7 chambres, 4 salles de bain maison 18 dans des lits, et se trouve sur plus d'un demi-acre (3 lots merveilleusement ombragées et isolées) sur la fin d'une impasse, à seulement 2 pâtés de maisons de l'escalier bleu à South Beach, et 1 bloquer à Kids Corner! Pour le vélo-amateur, la moto-trail nouvellement pavée se trouve à 50 pieds de la maison. Ce magnifique sentier de 4 mile vous amène directement à la State Park, où vous pourrez explorer les dunes, asseyez-vous sur la plage, et d'explorer une région que beaucoup qui viennent à South Haven ne savent même pas existe. Si vous êtes à la recherche de vacances South Beach familles à South Haven, vous avez trouvé votre maison!


    Parce qu'il est l'été, vous aurez beaucoup de l'utilisation de la cuisine en plein air, avec un gril surdimensionné, évier, et réfrigérateur, d'un compteur de manger dehors, assis sur plus de 500 pieds carrés de terrasse en pierre.

    La maison comprend trois chambres en bas, une avec un lit Queen, une avec un roi et un jumeau, et une avec un roi. Salle de bain complète avec baignoire / douche en bas. Grand salon avec une "tv 55 1080p qui est ouvert à la salle à manger. Salon, salle à manger et d'une cuisine / coin cuisine manger sont tous à aire ouverte très, et la collecte de l'intérieur la famille ne sera pas un problème, même pour les plus grands groupes!

    Quatre chambres à l'étage, deux ont une reine, on a une reine et un jumeau, on a quatre jumeaux. Deux salles de bains à l'étage, une avec une belle dégringolé pierre tuile, verre enfermé douche de plain-pied, une autre avec un bain à remous.

    Caractéristiques de cuisine en béton coulé les comptoirs, les nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, et un bar-quatre places. Salle à manger formelle dispose de deux tables avec-sièges pour 12-16.

    Cour arrière est énorme, avec beaucoup d'arbres matures et les zones pour les enfants à explorer! En face se trouve un parc appartenant à la ville où vous pouvez jouer au football, jeter une balle de baseball autour, ou avoir un petit pique-nique!

    J'ai acheté cette maison en novembre 2014. Cette maison a été complètement vidé, vers le bas pour les goujons.

    Il y a une dépendance de 460 pieds carrés qui a été "salle de jeux", avec un bar, une table de poker, TV et salle de bain complète avec douche à l'italienne, un canapé-lit, climatisation / chauffage, et les curseurs de walk-out double à la cuisine en plein air hors de la maison principale. Le bâtiment est vraiment cool et donne à votre groupe des options en matière d’espace de vie et de vie privée.

The house was a great location for our family of 12! Perfect for taking 2 year olds to the park and South Beach easily, and loved having the trail to walk each morning. The yard was big and family friendly. Plenty of beds for all and great fun in the poker/game outbuilding! The second hand furniture and peeling paint in places left a little to be desired for overall look, but for the lower price we feel it’s worth it.

Our family enjoyed our stay. Great location and size for a large family. Private setting at the end of the street near a biking/walking trail. Close to the beach, a large playground, and short walk into town. South Haven is a very nice area. The property met our needs and has a lot of potential.

Had a great time

Property was perfect for our group. Great yard for my grandsons to play in. We had nightly fires and movies. Out building worked great for an office for work calls. Location was perfect for the park and beach.

Perfect for family reunion

The house was so comfortable. Beach access was really close, with a pleasant walk through a lovely old neighborhood. A bluff above the beach had benches and was perfect for older members of our group to watch the sunset. The large yard had a table for dinner, an outdoor kitchen with a grill and a firepit that made it ideal for family gatherings. We just enjoyed our stay there so much and would recommend it to everyone!

There were only a couple of positives, the house is very close to the beach and the backyard was very large. The property isn’t accurately represented in the pictures. The pictures make the property look very clean and nice landscaping .Numerous walls in the house had cracks in them or watermarks , the ceilings had large stains in multiple rooms. The floor panels throughout the house were separating and had buckling. It looks like there may have been water damage to the floor. Before renters arrive to a rental you expect the house to be cleaned. We had noticed a lot of bugs in the bedrooms, spiderwebs in many corners and bathtubs. I understand that the property is near the woods and you can expect some bugs but it didn’t seem like the property was thoroughly cleaned after the last stay. The property is in need of repair in many areas. The dishwasher works but isn’t properly installed so it moves around when you try to close or load it. Also 2 of the smoke detectors are hanging from the ceiling as is some canned lights. The back door doesn’t properly lock either, there is a wooden bar so it can’t open but if you’re renting a property you would think a doors would lock and you can open the patio shades. Also, bedrooms without closets or a place for clothes or suitcases?The VRBO pictures do not accurately represent the condition of this property.

Rare 7 bedroom property

If you want all polished hardwood floors, spacious bedrooms with tvs (even closets) and modern furniture, go elsewhere. The 7 private bedrooms, many with more than 1 bed (plus a separate outbuilding with a fold-out couch) met our extended family's priority for a week's stay very near Lake Michigan within South Haven with a very safe property for young children. The landlord was helpful.

Looks Can Be Deceiving

This property looks great from the pictures on VRBO, but that is not what you get when you get there. You do have clean sheets and bathrooms, but there needs to be better upgrades on things that are broken, missing, or dirty. The game room out back smells of mold. The outdoor kitchen had a filthy gas grill and the table to eat on hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The outdoor refrigerator was dirty and broken. We are a group of campers so we made it work for us. We love the proximity to the beach and the bike trails, but it was not the standard we were expecting for the price.

Family Gathering

This house is perfect for a large family gathering. The location is great as you can walk downtown and to the beach. The bedrooms were smaller than they appeared on line but we managed fine. No one ever had to wait for a bathroom as there were 4 though we hadn't anticipated running out of toilet paper in the first 24 hours and having to go to the store. We also could have used a few more plates and silverware. The large back yard was wonderful and the three grandchildren has a ball playing soccer (Women's World Cup was in progress) with the adults. Overall, I would rate this house excellent and we would come back in two years when we want to do it again.

Great Location, but.....

The house is in a great location. However, the owner needs to spend time on repairs and maintenance. I did not reach out to the homeowner, because there were repairs that needed to be made over 2 years ago, that he still not has addressed. The refrigerator leaks, ice maker doesn't work. We did have a good time, but we would not rent the house again.

Family Stay - Think Twice

If you want a place two blocks from the beach with a large yard, this may work. However, if cleanliness and comfort matter, look elsewhere. We didn’t receive check-in info via VRBO, so I emailed him. He texted the details later and mentioned a big new Weber gas grill. When we arrived, the house was covered in cobwebs. While some are normal in summer, we didn't expect spiders inside in every corner or above the beds. The furniture was ripped, the mattresses were so worn that two people would roll into the middle, and the floors were too dirty to walk on barefoot. Sheets looked dirty, and paint was peeling around the house. The freezer was missing shelves, making it nearly unusable. When I contacted John, he said the cleaning crew should have informed him about the freezer. Two hours later, water leaked from the fridge. He said it had been leaking for a month and suggested we use towels. Talk about a safety hazard. I cannot believe it takes a month to replace a fridge. The bathrooms were moldy and misrepresented. One had just a jacuzzi, and another was in a filthy outhouse. Not great for after the beach. When I expressed our disappointment, John was dismissive: that the appeal was the location and yard and we could leave if we wanted. Where were to go? Ironically, the yard was in such bad shape we asked if he could turn on the water so we could clean the patio to sit for a meal. He never responded, so we swept it ourselves. We had to clean the grill ourselves to use it.

Mold in showers and slimy. No mirror in bathroom. Very difficult to open and close sliding door. Easy fixes and desperately needs a deep clean. Property has great potential if kept up better.

Always fun in South Haven

Property location on dead end street ideal for children with large yard for kids to play. Rooms were small but for the most part adequate. Bathroom facilities could be updated and cleaner and refrigerator leaked water with non functioning water and ice dispenser. Despite these problems house was very comfortable and we enjoyed are time in South Haven at this property. Thank you!

House in need of attention

We were disappointed in the house upon arrival. The bathroom grout was dirty, the grass needed mowing and the extra game room was very musty smelling. I did contact the owner and he was prompt in having the yard mowed and the bathrooms were cleaned but the problem is the type of grout. The house furnishings were very minimal and the living room furniture was pretty worn. It would have been nice to have hooks or rods available in all the bedrooms for hanging bath towels. The location was great and we did enjoy the outdoors.

Not worth the money

Only nice thing here was location. This property has a long list of disrepair items …. Leaking through the ceiling from upstairs bathroom, mold growth in upstairs shower and in laundry room, leaking refrigerator with non working ice maker, patio furniture that frankly was scary to sit on, grill was filthy, lawn needed mowed and the place has not seen a landscaper in some time. Furniture was scarce and in poor shape. Only one TV in the entire main house… really? It’s really a shame because this place has so much potential if the owner would invest back into the property. My suggestion ~ keep looking this property is not worth $700+ per night.

Don’t always get what you pay for!!!

Short on towels, refrigerator froze items, ice machine didn’t work, toaster browned one side, screen on slider taped to hold together, didn’t slide. Loose patio blocks separated, patio chairs iffy, upstairs shower leaked through ceiling on to my suitcase full of clothes. Definitely need some TLC. Also a woman touch wouldn’t hurt.

Fantastic location, poor property upkeep

Best things about this property are location (close to beach and bike trail) and large back yard, however house was not clean and in poor repair. There were several issues with the building. Upper half of house is quite a bit warmer than lower half and several upstairs windows had no screens. Mouse droppings in kitchen cabinet and outbuilding, mattresses stained and without covers, not enough sheets for all beds, outside grill only heated to 300 degrees, dirty dishes in kitchen cabinet when we arrived, stained towels. Property could really shine with proper cleaning, pest control, and better upkeep, especially for rental price.

So so property in a great location

The actual house was not as nice as the photos. The kitchen tables and chairs were different and the covering on the chairs was ripped. The living room furniture, also different from the photos, was mismatched, uncomfortable and in poor condition. The exterior was not kept up in the same condition as depicted in the photo. For the extra cleaning fee I expected a more thoroughly cleaned house. There were lots of dusty furniture surfaces and dusty baseboards. The outdoor furniture was also dirty and in poor condition. While we enjoyed our week in South Haven because of the convenient location and great weather; I had the impression the owner felt he didn’t have to try so much while charging a premium price, just because of the location and spaciousness of the property. I would love to return but only if there were assurances of furniture upgrades and better cleaning.

Perfect 4th of July Getaway

This spot was perfect for our group for the long weekend. Fit 14 people comfortably and had a large backyard that was great for a variety of activities. Short walk to the beach and easy drive to local stores/golf courses were a huge plus as well. Will be checking availability again for a return trip.
