This home is beautifully decorated and located right on the Rio Grande River, with over 3,000-square-feet of living space to spread out in, making this home perfect for your next vacation with family and friends! It is located in a quiet neighborhood, less than 20 miles from Wolf Creek Ski Area. Sit on the back deck and enjoy the sounds of the River wash by. Inside, you'll find an all-wood interior dressed in ski décor, comfortable furniture, a wood-burning stove, and high, vaulted ceilings. There are two main living areas, so the adults can enjoy a quiet evening while the kids are living it up in the game/recreation room. You'll have two kitchens, four bedrooms, and two lofts, an ideal space for a family get-together. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, queen beds in the second bedroom, a queen in the third, a twin in the first loft, and two queens in the second loft.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This is a great place for families and friends to come together. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, dishes, and pans to use. It’s a short drive to Wolf Creek Ski Lodge. Perfect home away from home.

The house was perfect for my family vacation. We had 4 adults and 5 boys ages 9-18. The layout was perfect for the boys to have their own area to hang out. The location was ideal for our activities. My favorite part was the back deck right up against the river. I enjoyed my morning coffee watching/listening to the water. Made friends with the chipmunk hanging out in the trees above the deck. Would definitely recommend to my friends. It says sleeps 12, but could comfortably sleep 14. Thanks for taking care of any questions we had during our stay.

Quick wolf creek ski vacay

Property is conveniently located on the wolf creek side of Southfork. Check in/out was easy. Great set up for adult couples with kids for beds/space. Fans and smart TVs in all bedrooms. Kids enjoyed game room area and having their own TV in second living area. Property is older as far as finishes/interior but very well kept and clean. Kitchen stocked well. All beds were great except the twin mattresses in the loft area, those are rock hard, and loft area needs a new staircase access, as the current one is old and weak looking. We will definitely stay again when we return to ski in Wolf Creek!

Relaxing house on the river with lots of rooms to separate. Everyone could watch their on TV, use their bathroom and with 2 Kitchens cook what you want when you want and clean your dishes. Balcony was always available with running river and squirl visitor.

Awesome location but……

The location was great! The house is in a state of disrepair that leaves a lot to be desired. It gave you the distinct feeling that this house was only to make the owners the maximum amount of revenue. Now if upkeep had been proper I would not complain about this!

Enormous Home!

The house was perfect - massive, beautiful, and comfortable, right on the Rio Grande River; we couldn’t have imagined a better place! Gorgeous hiking trails within walking distance were an added bonus. Hope to come back again!

Roomy and comfortable

2 couples and 6 kids from 9-15. Kids had their own “wing” of the house which we all loved with their own tv, living room kitchen bathrooms/shower etc. Tons of room, kitchen was great, everything was clean, garage was heated which was also nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home in S. Fork

Had 10 members of family and friend stay here for our ski trip at Wolf Creek. This property was perfect for everyone and space to make memories together. We were there the week between Christmas and New Years and when 80+ inches of snow hit the area. The plows kept the roads in the neighborhood clear. The house has 3 regular bedrooms and 3 loft areas with additional beds and sleeping space. The separate living areas let the kids play ping pong and watch movies where other could gather inthe lower den for games, movies, reading or just sharing stories of the day on the mountain. The pass to Wolf Creek was much more clear than those coming from Pagosa. Only difference is dining and amenities (shopping and groceries) have slim pickings in S. Fork but overall a cute small town. Definately a great home with everything you needs and VaCasa management communicated well through their app and e-mail correspondence.

Great cabin with lots of space. Had a mix of ages and the property was perfect. Great location with easy access to both south fork and pagosa springs. Only 15 minutes to the ski area. Cabin was stocked well with kitchen items and bedding/bath items.

Very spacious home - great for large group

This home is very very spacious if you have a large group this would be perfect! It was clean and for the most part had everything we needed for our fall stay. We rented UTV's so the long driveway was perfect to park the trailer. Internet worked great. Close to grocery. This home is nicely decorated and definitely has a cabin feel. Did I mention that the home has so much room...you definitely can all spread out and have your private time and two large areas to gather in. The river does run right behind the house. The highway runs on the other side of the river and it is loud. Also note that you need to bring lawn chairs with you if you want to sit out on the deck as the furniture needs cushions and there are none. The bedroom 2 lists king -queen on the listing but it was a queen. The kitchen pots, pans, and appliances really need updating. Several of the kitchen and dining room chairs legs were very wobbly. We just found the best ones and used those as there was only 4 of us. Also note, that while it looks like there are 3 garages to park in one is locked and the other one is full.

Spacious

The home was so well appointed for different age groups, and so perfect right on the river, which you could hear from two of the bedrooms. Back deck furniture and kitchen pots and pans need updating, but everything else was ideal.
