The house interior is immaculate and was recently redone in a spacious, contemporary style. Everyone's reaction was "wow this is really nice." The beds are new and comfortable. Towels were plentiful. The kitchen has a large island. The knives were sharp which is a novelty in a rental. There were enough pots and pans but we could have used a few more plates, drinking and wine glasses. The second fridge in the garage which was most welcome. From the kitchen you step onto a nice deck with a grill, outside the ground floor thereâs a fire pit. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy weather so werenât able to enjoy them.
The house is in a residential neighborhood and sits on a wooded lot that drops to the outlet of a mill pond dam. There is no yard where you can throw the kids out of the house. But, itâs a short drive to Georgiaville Pond Beach where the kids ran around and we walked the dam. We also saw some trails into the woods, but we didnât explore those. Inside, the host provides lots of kid friendly games and books. Boredom was not an issue. Finally, bonus points for being pet friendly, the dog probably had more fun than the humans.
