« The property’s location is ideal, being just a few blocks from the Sea Life Center, close to restaurants, and a 1 mile drive from the glacier cruise area. The house is very old, but we found that to be a fun look back to the past. There was plenty of room for our family, as there is a bunk room with many single beds upstairs, in addition to the two bedrooms on the main floor. The kitchen had plenty of bowls, cups, silverware, etc. Really enjoyed our time here! »

« My friends and I booked the Blueberry Haven to attend a Seward event. The home is lovely, comfortable, and convenient, and was a great retreat for us after a cool and rainy day by the harbor. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and I would definitely recommend a stay here. »

« We always love staying in Bear Lake because it's not that far from Seward and we were able to bring our two dogs. The cabin was actually better than the pictures portrayed, and the owner really did think of everything. I was surprised that it was stocked with so much stuff because sometimes you get to your rental place and it's the bare minimum. « My husband and I live in Anchorage, but we love to get out of town and go fish in Cooper Landing. This house exceeded our expectations, especially for February. It was a quick drive from the Kenai, and its close proximity to Seward suited all of our needs while being secluded enough to enjoy our privacy. « The place worked good. But the listing has the wrong address & the property manager never returned our 3 calls requesting how to put the heat on & what the Wi-Fi code was. We did find the code on a slip of paper by the tv & did get some heat. Also, the text symbol for the property manager does not work. So no texting. « If you are looking for a great place the is quite but close to town this is it. We were close enough to town, hiking trails and fishing to enjoy all the amenities yet able to escape the hustle when we were at the house. We had a family of 4 stay here with no problems. « Fisher's hideaway was a perfect location for us and a great place to stay. Being halfway between the Alaska Sealife Center/Downtown Seward and the Seward boat harbor made trips to either convenient.
