'No air con in rooms Renovation work being carried out in the restaurant/bar which we were not warned of prior to our stay and which impacted us. Staff were lovely and friendly'

'plenty of parking, room was very smart and clean furniture was lovely, iron and iron board was on the landing out side if needed and a room fan... extra teas and coffees. breakfast was good. except mushroom had been cooked with herbs and tomatoes could been cooked long. other than that all good throughout'

'Inchecken ging moeizaam. We moesten borg betalen terwijl de kamer vooraf betaald was. De borg zou verrekend worden met het eten. Maar bleek niet mogelijk te zijn. Waardoor we dat direct moest betalen in de restaurant/bar. Kamer/badkamer was schoon en groot. Er was geen airconditioning wat jammer was gezien dat heel erg warm was. Er was een ventilator op de kamer die hopeloos was. Er was genoeg keuze voor ontbijt. Personnel was vriendelijk.'

'A perfectly acceptable place to stay. I've stayed there many times and some of the rooms are wonderful. Room 12 (that I was in this time) is not one of those rooms! It's small, noisy (yards with dogs outside), the bathroom is basic and the bed is not amazing either. Check-in was poor but there was only one chap on duty in a busy Wetherspoons type pub, so he didn't have that much time (or energy) to give me. All in all, just OK, not amazing.'

'Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were great especially Lorraine, who gave us a great welcome to the hotel and gave my wife a picture of Elvis when we left, because my wife was wearing an Elvis t-shirt. Lots of veggie options on the breakfast menu. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a bath in room 1.'

'A beautifully clean and welcoming hotel on the beach in Croyde. It’s safe, fantastic amenities and there is something for everyone. The staff are extremely polite, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s hard to find accommodation these days where there is nothing to fault - Outstanding! A perfect little get away.'
