Kastelen in Hastings Heritage Trail

'Very clean! The breakfast has selection which was nice. My room was clean, the staff was good. The location is great! Suggestion: I didn’t like that they put the scrambled eggs in a split container with the pork. As a Muslim I can’t eat that because of the steam, usually it’s in a container alone. Also I don’t like the big bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower, I like having my own and not what other people use.'

'King size room costs more than 2 Queen beds'

'The breakfast is not very good but I don’t expect much for this type of hotel, at least some juice coffee toast good enough to start your day. It’s clean enough and the service is good. It’s looking at little aged in some areas. The mattress is okay, it seems like it was slopping, clean yes. Parking is free, that’s great. I would stay there again, it’s aging but still ok.'

'The breakfast was nice and the rooms were clean ans spacious. '

'nous sommes très satisfaits, Merci'

'Hot tub jets were barely running, the hotel ad shows it is pet friendly, but hidden is the $75 +HST fee and disclaimer policy for the pet. Parking is free, room was clean, with kitchenette available, breakfast was decent. Other ads for hotels in the area on Expedia show up front there is a pet fee on top of the cost for the hotel, so we're surprised when we arrived why this wasn't disclosed like the others.'

'As expected for a chain hotel'
