This Lake Keowee home was amazing! Exactly as described and was so inviting! All our necessary essentials in the kitchen were available, and there was so much room for each of our family members. The outdoor space was picturesque! Will always treasure memories made there and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking into staying! The owners were in contact right away with any questions that we had. We were able to enjoy a warm & relaxing stay with our family! :-)

We had a fantastic week here! House was spacious, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and had a great dock where we spent countless hours. We took advantage of the dock having space for us to tie up our boat that we trailered up with us and launched at a nearby boat ramp. Even with boat tied up on one side we had plenty of room to swim, float and enjoy the huge water mat they let guests use. We didn't use the paddle boards and kayaks they also have there, but would have if we hadn't have had our own boat to use. The lake is pretty large and very fun to explore by boat. We were extremely lucky with the weather, and were able to enjoy the water during the day and the fire pit in the evening. Loved that the fire pit was so large and had plenty of seating to accommodate our whole group. Trip and Laura were very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions leading up to our trip very quickly. They also checked in with us after we arrived to make sure everything was good. Lake Keowee has always been one of our favorite places to vacation, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this house again in the future!

We had a wonderful family vacation here and appreciated the spacious home and everything that was provided. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the large eating table was great for our group and the yard and dock were beautiful. My grandchildren enjoyed fishing off the dock and hanging out downstairs.

Our stay at Lake Keowee could not have been any better. The house was in a fantastic area on a peninsula. We rented a boat and it was very easy to dock daily. The two jumping rocks and waterfall area were less than 10 minutes away. Check in and out was so friendly and easy. Communication was simple and quick. I cannot say enough great things about the house and the owners. We will definitely be taking our family back.

Wonderful location and vacation!

We had family as young as 6 and as old as 76 staying. All had an amazing time. The place in on a quiet cove so we all loved swimming and floating off the dock. Sunset marina is a short boat ride away to fuel up. And just pop right out of the cove and you could see the fireworks from the Cliffs. The grandparents especially loved the main floor balcony that overlooked the lake. And the owners were wonderful to communicate with. Overall a great place to stay.

Amazing property

We stayed here over Clemson graduation weekend. It was the perfect spot to celebrate our oldest. There was plenty of space for everyone and the views are amazing. The house has everything you need for entertaining. My only suggestion would be to have a gas grill outside. The upstairs porch is perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The firepit was perfect since it was colder than normal for this time of year. We rented a boat and was able to utilize the dock. My kids enjoyed the paddle boards. We would have used the dock more had the weather been better. The location was great as well. It’s in a nice neighborhood And an easy drive to Clemson. The owners are really easy to get in touch with and very nice. We will definitely stay here again.

Friend Reunion Week

This property was great for 2 couples and 2 adult kids. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our home cooked meals and the 3 refrigerators were perfect for all our food and drinks! The view from the deck and the fire pit made for lots of great conversation and relaxing! Would definitely rent again especially when our grand pups are along!

A week in Paradise

The house is perfect . We had our Annual Family vacation on Lake Keowee this year and it did not disappoint .every room in the house was great great views from the upper deck, a nice gas fire pit ,great floating dock where you can just float around in a nice cove .the only down fall I would say is that it has a charcoal grill , we would of preferred a gas grill as for the quick convince of just cooking burgers and dogs for the kids .the WiFi worked great ,the cell reception in the whole area is very spotty it can be a good thing since you are on vacation , local towns and markets are only 20 min drive ,we rented a pontoon boat for the week from sunset marina and kept it at the house which was also a plus .there are 2 nice tv’s that are modern so you can share the screen with your device to watch any out of market tv or app service. Plenty of cooking supplies This house is definitely a great house to stay at ,

Fantastic home on beautiful lake

My family and I had an incredible week at this beautiful home. I have rented vacation homes for 30 years and I have never had one as well equipped as this one. Everything (and I mean everything) you can possibly need was provided. The home is beautifully decorated, the beds very comfortable and the views from the porch are incredible. The house is located in a cove which allowed quiet mornings and stress free water time near the dock. We used the paddle boards, kayaks, noodles and other water toys provided by the owners. I particularly appreciated the beach towels provided since my family came from all directions and they are hard to pack. If I had to pick a favorite experience it would be either mornings drinking coffee on the porch or evenings spent around the fire pit. The owners responded immediately when I had questions. I will definitely rent this house again.

Graduation weekend

Enjoyed a lovely weekend with family for Clemson graduation. The lake is pristine, and we enjoyed playing on the paddle boards and kayaks. Everything we needed for the kids to enjoy the lake was available. We enjoyed sitting outside listening to the tree frogs in the evenings. The house is conveniently close to Clemson though don’t plan on any “quick trips” to the nearest grocery store. The kitchen was impressive compared to most places we’ve rented—had all the tools, pots and pans, etc. that we needed. The only problem we had with the house was adjusting the thermostat the first night, when it was quite warm. It is set to automatically return to a preset schedule so every few hours it readjusted the set temp to 78. Once we figured that out and got it to hold to one setting, the house was very comfortable.

Lakeside Thanksgiving Family Reunion

The property is lovely and the lake view is beautiful. The home is well furnished, the kitchens (2) are well equipped and our entire family felt at home. We had such a fun evening outside around the fire pit talking and sharing family stories. The property manager was prompt and courteous. I would definitely recommend the property and plan to return again.

Great week on Lake Keowee

Our extended family enjoyed our week on Lake Keowee. The house is located on a quiet cove, which was great for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. The elevator was perfect for our older guests. Both kitchens were well stocked. There was plenty of room for everyone.

Lakeside Retreat Near Six Mile

The North Lake Retreat was as advertised. It is a beautiful lake house with all the amenities. It was perfect for our family with plenty of living space. The house was neat and clean. Communication with the owners was great. The lake is gorgeous and the view from the house is stunning. We had a great stay, and we highly recommend this property.

Fantastic home on the lake!

I rent several homes per year via VRBO and and these were the most responsive and helpful owners I've come across in quite some time. The home was exactly how it appears online and was clean with comfortable beds and living spaces. We were 3 couples traveling with our young teens and this house worked perfectly for us! We loved the setting in the cove that allowed for swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking or just floating. Such great memories made for our kids who needed this amazing week after a challenging COVID-controlled year.

Family Vacation

We had amazing trip to Lake Keowee! Laura and Trip are great hosts. They responded to my emails usually within minutes and called to make sure our check-in was smooth and everything about the house was as expected. The house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. There are two kitchens that have everything you need and then some to cook great meals. The three refrigerators made it easy to go to the grocery store less since the nearest grocery store is about 23 minutes away. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well stocked. You will not need to bring paper towels, trash bags, tp or even laundry detergent. The list of house amenities does not begin to highlight everything this house has to offer. For a better list, check out the “view more about Trip and Laura Guinan” section to read about all the details of the house. The house is about 25 minutes to downtown Clemson so the kids and husband went in to visit the campus and get some ice cream made at the creamery. I grew up around lakes, but Lake Keowee is my new favorite. The water is still refreshing in a July! You can’t say that about many SC lakes. And the water off the dock is deep so you never have to touch the bottom if you don’t want to. The kids and brother-in-law loved the stand up paddle boards. After growing up on the lake, I expected to see a snake or creature. Nothing. Except some small turtles who duck out just as soon as you touch the water and bream the kids caught around the dock. The owners had the pest control company to work on the ants so we didn’t find any in the yard. We had a great stay at this house and look forward to another trip in the future.

Very disappointed with the owner!

I'll start off by saying the property is exactly as listed. It's a great house that has all the amenities for a few families to have a great time at the lake. For context, we had 3 families with 5 kids ages 3-9. I give that context because the the owner and neighbors are atrocious to deal with. We stayed there over Memorial Day weekend and constantly got harassed by the neighbors next door and owner for being too loud. This started as early as 7pm some nights when we were grilling out and making smores at the fire pit. Our kids were always in bed by 9pm and we were very conscious of quiet hours (which begin at 10pm) but this was not good enough. In addition, the owner will come after you for every charge he can. He charged us $250 for using white spray paint on his patio and stopped all communication when I told him this was sunscreen and will clearly wash away. We were charged for a broken ceramic bowl that was clearly some clam shells the kids found in the lake and the list goes on and on.
