Step into the inviting foyer of Peaceful Waves Beach House via convenient self-check-in with keyless entry and head straight to the open-concept living-dining-kitchen area. You’ll be dazzled by bright, jewel-tone colors and beach-themed artwork (primarily by local artists) throughout the home.

Make your way to the cozy family room, where you can relax on comfy seating and chat by a cozy fire in the gas fireplace. Or enjoy a cinematic experience watching your favorite movies, sports, and shows on the large-screen smart TV. Cable TV provides diverse programming, or you can use your own login for your favorite streaming apps/channels, and as with two bedroom TVs in the home, a DVD player is available.

You’ll find a huge selection of DVDs in the bonus second-floor family room, which doubles as a game room with a large-screen TV, XBOX 360 game system with Kinect, and board games (find a large selection in the room’s tall cabinet in the room). Should you need additional sleeping space, the large sofa converts into a queen-size bed, as does a sofa in the first-floor family room.

Prep and cook your favorite recipes in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, where you’ll find all the kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances – electric kettle, blender, toaster, mixer, two crock pots – you’ll need for meal prep, along with a pantry, and a wide variety of pots/pans, dishes, glassware, and flatware. You’ll love the large farmhouse sink in the convenient island to facilitate prep and cleanup. Grab your morning beverage from the coffee station, featuring Keurig Duo Coffeemaker, along with a supply of coffee, tea, and sweeteners.

Gather the group to dine in the dining area at the table for 12 for large feasts, and supplement with 3 barstools at the island breakfast bar (also the perfect spot for lunch and quick snacks). Or dine al fresco at the tables for eight on the screened-in porch, where you can also cook on the built-in gas grill with counter space on the nearby patio. The table is a great spot for games, too! Festive string lights also surround this porch.

Sip cocktails or just converse in Adirondack chairs on the patio; you’ll also find lawn chairs in the garage, which can be used to watch performances at the Freeman Stage.

Grab a bicycle from the garage (helmets) provided, and tool around the neighborhood.

Let’s not forget the main attraction – the beach, just a few miles away. A cooler and beach chairs are available for your jaunts to the beach.

After a full day exploring the area, enjoying the beach, experiencing (with guest pass), the extensive recreational facilities of the award-winning Bayside Resort Golf Club, head to bed and your choice of five inviting bedrooms with premium mattresses – two on the first floor, and three on the second floor. Beds are made with bath towels rolled on top in every bedroom.

You’ll find 2 master-bedroom suites, one on each floor. The first-floor master suite offers a comfortable king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom that includes a shower with a bench and grab bars, private water closet with grab bar, and dual-vanity sinks. A smart tv and new electric fireplace await you here. You’ll find plenty of storage in the form of a dresser and a walk-in closet. A recliner chair and blackout curtains complete this room.

Readers may gravitate to the second-floor master suite, featuring a luxury king bed, blackout curtains, a rocker recliner chair, and lamps for late night reading. You’ll love the convenience of the room’s ensuite bathroom with bathtub-shower combo.

Who will have dibs on the second bedroom on the first floor with a feature wall and private porch, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or smoothie? Get to that sleepy sweet spot watching this room’s large-screen smart TV from the queen bed. Or read in bed with natural light or a side lamp to illuminate reading material. A dresser provides storage, and a hall closet for hanging items is immediately outside of the bedroom door.

Along with the master on the second floor, discover a bedroom with two comfortable queen size beds with nightstands and lamps flanking the beds. A dresser, walk-in closet, blackout curtains, a bench, and smart TV are also available in this bedroom.

One more second-floor bedroom features a double bed with a twin trundle bed that can be pulled out and used by a child, as needed.

Two queen sleeper sofas, as detailed above, are also available as additional sleeping accommodations.

Refresh and rejuvenate in the home’s bathrooms (all providing hair dryers) and half bath. In addition to the ensuite bathrooms for the two master bedrooms, bathrooms include a half-bathroom conveniently located on the first floor and a second-floor bathroom offering a combination bathtub-shower combo and toilet plus a separate area with dual-vanity sinks.

Should your group have remote-work and/or school needs, you’ll be delighted to discover the dedicated office space, fast Wi-Fi, and an ethernet connection. Feel free to plug your laptop into the provided external monitors, mouse, and keyboard. The kids will discover a nice surprise next to this space – a cabinet full of children’s books.

You’ll love the convenience of laundry room that includes a large washer, dryer, and utility sink, as well as laundry products in the cabinets above and a drying rack in the garage. Also in the garage: An extra refrigerator.

The entire Peaceful Waves Beach House including the patio and gas grill are available for exclusive guest use except for one locked owner's closet. The house is located within the award-winning Bayside Resort Golf Club community.

Parking: Parking for one vehicle in garage and two vehicles in driveway is available. Abundant “shell spots” (outlined with clam shells), next to the sidewalks near the street, are available at no cost. Security patrols after 6 pm and tickets cars blocking sidewalks or parked on the street

Bayside Resort Golf Club: This resort community has fabulous amenities including its 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course (an additional cost), with a pro shop and newly opened 38 Degrees Bar and Grille at the Point overlooking a beautiful view of Ocean City. The new Clubhouse features the Signatures Restaurant and a virtual golf simulator. The Point also has kayaking and stand up paddle boarding opportunities.

This resort includes a performing-arts stage, The Freeman Arts Pavilion, featuring performances throughout the summer; shoreline nature trail, community pier, tennis courts (clay and asphalt), bocce ball and pickle ball courts and the Sun Ridge Tennis & Recreation Center, with its outdoor pools, hot tub, tennis courts, kids' splash zone, and a playground area. Plus, a waterfall outdoor hot tub! The Commons Neighborhood Pool includes an outdoor free-form pool, a kiddie pool, hot-tub, yard games, and a poolside bar and grille.

The Health and Aquatic Club features a heated 75-foot indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, multi-purpose and aerobics room and a fitness area with state-of-the-art equipment for strength training and cardio.

The resort also includes special events, including live music and family-friendly activities. In addition, it is a great community for walking, biking, and jogging.

* Note: Some amenities are not open year-round or might not be open 7 days per week during certain times of the year or under certain conditions. Guest passes must be purchased from the host prior to your arrival to use the resort amenities.

GUEST PASSES: You need not purchase any passes if you do not want to. Purchase only for those who will be using the resort amenities during your stay. Passes cover virtually all resort amenities but do not include golf (extra fee) and The Point or North Haven pools (residents only). You can purchase 3-day passes at a reduced rate compared to weekly passes. Children age 4 or younger do not need a pass but must be supervised by someone who has purchased a pass. You must purchase the passes 7 business days or more prior to arrival from host to avoid an additional $5 per pass resort charge. You'll pick up the passes at the Health & Aquatic Club after you arrive. No refund is available on passes after you've paid for them.

Guest Pass Prices 2025:  From Jan 1 - May 15 and from Sep 23- Dec 31:  3-day pass: $40, per person weekly pass: $70 per person; From May 16-Sep 22: 3-day pass: $65 per person + weekly pass: $115 per person.

LINENS: Host supplies mattress pads, pillows, blankets, comforters, sheets, bath towels (2 per guest), washcloths (2 per guest). Please bring or rent your own beach towels from a local linen company if you plan to visit a pool or beach.
