Welcome to our mid-century dreamscape! This listing is a Mother-In-Law rental unit on the bottom floor of the owner's home. It includes a separate driveway, entrance, entire bottom-floor unit and a shared yard/hot-tub. The home is conveniently located 10 minutes north of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, is just .4 miles from the water, close to popular pubs and restaurants, and a quick 15-20 minute ride into downtown Seattle.
The owners of this space work in the beer & spirits industries and have a passion for hospitality experiences. Their vision for this space was a unique mid-century, spirits & cocktail inspired dreamscape. This space includes a master bedroom with a queen bed, a full kitchen, laundry room, living room with a pullout couch, dining area, cocktail bar, and a very unique 1960's bomb shelter turned speakeasy! Perfect for a group of adults looking to explore the city, get out into the beautiful woods & mountains of the northwest, or have a unique ski & soak experience close to both the ski resorts and the city.
We are dog lovers, who encourage you to bring your pup along with you on your trip! This space has a shared back yard, where the owner’s two Aussie Doodles play for most of the day. If you do bring your dog, please do not let them out in the yard if our dogs are out there unless they are friendly and well-behaved with other pups. Also, please do not leave your dog unattended in the yard. There is a $75/dog cleaning fee for every dog. We love your pups but deeper cleans are required after every dog stay.
There is a private driveway which leads to a separate entrance.
No keys to lose or to return! This property provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone, using a unique virtual key, or personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay.
I live on site so I'll be available in person at most time. I'm also available by phone day and night.
A safe, quiet, dead-end street close to the water. 10 minutes north of the airport and a quick 15-20 minute ride to the city. 1 mile from a popular strip of shops, bars and restaurants.

The fastest and most reliable mode of transportation in our opinion. Simply download the App and go. Uber/Lyft Driver’s are always minutes away.
Turo & Car2Go
You can rent a car with car sharing apps by downloading Turo or the Car2Go app.
Parking
The home has an additional driveway for guests. The driveway could easily fit two cars and is reserved for guests.
This unit is located on the bottom floor of the owner’s home. The owners live on the top floor year round, so be aware you will likely hear/see them during your stay. Please be conscious of noise levels.
The unit is completely separate except that the back yard area and the hot tub are shared with the owners.
There are two hypoallergenic dogs that live on the top floor and spend a lot of time in the yard.
Absolutely No Parties unless specifically requested and approved. If any glitter or confetti is found or if you bring more than 4 guests, you will be charged an additionally cleaning fee and a negative review for not following our house guidelines.
**Important:** We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification. You'll be required to pay for a $35 Damage Waiver or you have the option to Pre-authorize up to $500 to be charged in case of accidental damage with a Non-refundable $15 transaction fee, in addition to the reservation cost. Please take this fee in consideration before booking.
Please no shoes in the house.
Guests can check-in anytime after 4 pm
Check-out time is at 11am sharp. A late checkout may be possible if requested before 11am on the day of checkout, for an additional fee of $30 fee per hour. The absolute latest we may be able to accommodate is 1pm (again, this has to be requested!)
Any guest that stays past 1pm on their checkout date, may be charged for an additional night and a fee for rescheduling the cleaner.
We also have a strict no smoking policy. If we find evidence of smoking of any kind inside the home, you will be charged a $500 fine. You’re welcome to smoke outside of the home as long as it’s 15 feet from the property.
Absolutely No Parties. If any glitter or confetti is found after your stay, you will be charged an additionally cleaning fee and possibly negative review for not following our house guidelines.
