'This was our first time on Mount Desert Island. A true discovery! Staying at Nicole’s and Andrew’s farmhouse was wonderful. Tremont is located on the more remote side of the island. So be ready to drive everyday when you want to explore all the hikes. But there are also beautiful hikes close by and our most favorite swimming spot was around the corner. The house is spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The neighbors are friendly and during the nights you can hear the loons....

'The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities. Unfortunately the microwave did not work and guest service did not about it. Neither did the local contact. Had bought home cooked food and the lack of a microwave was very bad.'

'We love Acadia and this was a unique and fun home to stay in. We hadn’t stayed on this side of the island and I am glad we did. It was a fun location to do some things we hadn’t done before and the house/kitchen was perfect for us as a stopping ground. I would suggest adding another railing up to the loft, where the netting decoration is. Our kids ended up finding places to sleep on the main level because we were a little worried about safety coming down the stairs at night. It was also hot so...
