'This is a lovely old fashioned-feeling, quirky hotel with a great atmosphere. It is in a great location in the heart of Totnes. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all our meals were tasty with decent portions. The staff members, without exception, were cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Parking is tight with there being only a small car park so other parking options may need to be considered before arrival.'

'Wonderful location would certainly return.'

'Dichtbij het strand en winkelstraatjes. Dichtbij het javentje en bus- en treinstation. Gezellige hotel met vriendelijk personeel en elk avond is er een live optreden.'

The location close to the seafront, the pier, the harbour, the parks, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, steam railway, train and bus station made it the perfect place to stay for a seaside holiday. I only ordered the breakfast, not evening meals, the dining room was nice and the food was very good. I recommend it.'

The room was perfect, thoughtful touches everywhere, the location right on the edge of the town centre was excellent, everything the town had to offer was less than a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was 5*. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again.'

'Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding. Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts. Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners. Beautfiul location. Lovely Japanese meditation garden next to the bagel cafe, was...

'I called just to confirm that we would be able to go to the office to collect the keys on Sunday and that the office would definitely be open , even had an email confirming this but this was not the case - luckily for us someone in the office was able to call us to confirm the process that we had to take to collect the keys , just as well that we had a signal where we were on the time of the call !! The accommodation was in a very good location with everything close by. The property did need...
