It was located close to the water and the public dock. We were able to easily walk to the dock and fish. The center of town was just down the road so it made getting groceries and shopping easy. « We were looking to bring our anxiety-ridden, reactive and bitey dog with us for a test run road trip. This cottage was perfect to get out of town a couple hours away and give that a try! We are also massive nerds, so the decor was spot on for us. Hosts were great and helped out with the one issue we had in the kitchen. Overall fantastic and wonderfully quiet. We essentially road tripped to do a staycation and it was exactly what we needed! »

« The place itself is very nice, but it is old and it shows. The main level is very nice but property could have been cleaned better as we had bugs everywhere and found a dead cockroach under a couch. Also would recommend for the property manager to get more basic cooking supplies in the rental (salt, pepper, oil) as we’ve had these provided previously at other stays as well as sending out an electronic version of the welcome binder prior to arrival as there were things in there we didn’t know and...
