« A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! »

« Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. « Going to start off by saying that when you advertise a cottage in the middle of peak summer then you should ensure that at the very least the aircon is working. The place felt like a furnace the moment we stepped in and when we switched on the aircon it was not working. I promptly messaged about it hoping someone would come and fix it next day. We were staying for 2 nights only. The first night was unbearable. Kids woke up in the middle of the night as the upstairs rooms were very very hot. So...

« Overall pleasant for an old motel, modernising efforts have been made. It was the friendliness of the staff that made it great. What a solid asset. A little pricey booking thru app for what is, but I’ll be back soon and go direct. What, pool table and pokies. Space better spent but had a dabble. Thanks for the stay!! Sean (Edward) »

« We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with twin beds in 1 room and whilst the hotel was agreeable to splitting a bed, it took over 24 hours to happen. The patio had all services on it (hot water system and 2 aircon motors, 1 of which was not for this room), and the aircon drain was direct onto the patio floor, so you could not use the patio except to stand in the middle of it on a mat that was placed on it for water reasons. The apartment was advertised to have aircon, but it was in the loungeroom...

« Some friends booked for us to stay here whilst attending a sporting event whilst over from the UK. It’s a conference centre first and foremost and for the ten days we were there there were no conferences so was very very quiet with limited facilities available. However, it proved to be an excellent base for us, the rooms were very comfortable (the beds are huge) and provided kettles, toasters, fridge etc. There’s no reception after I think about 5pm so having left my keycard in the room at...

« Excellent Apartment/Hotel, staff were great and helpful and the it was well located. Only issue was a couple of times I had trouble entering the hotel after hours as the entrance wouldn’t open, but the staff were very reactive and sort it out for me. I will definitely stay again. Thanks »

« Internet was ok but not the fastest. The rooms were well appointed but things missing in kitchen that it needed, like egg flip, peeler, serving spoons, teaspoons. The bathroom needed facewashers. Said in compendium that mini services done daily with towel replacements if wanted. Never saw anyone in the 4 days we were there, no towel changes. Plenty of secure parking but to access garage you had to get out of car , walk around to passenger side to tap fob to control panel so gate would go up....
