Longboat Key, FL is characterized by luxurious beachfront estates with jungle landscapes, and long, gleaming white sandy beaches. Longboat Key has an unmistakable air of exclusivity, and the beaches have limited public access. While this may be frustrating for some, it creates a very quiet beach for those wanting to escape the crowds.

This one bedroom Condo on the fourth floor with a private balcony is the place to enjoy the sound of the rolling waves and some of the most spectacular sunsets on Longboat Key. This unit located in the Tower overlooking the Gulf of Mexico is bright and spacious.
All new 2 Queen beds in the bedroom and Full and Twin sleeper sofa bed in the living room.
It has a fully equipped kitchen, Cable TV, dining area, and living room sliding glass doors with a screen.
With the use of our elevator, you just step away from the heated pool, beach and other community amenities.

Great view and location.... not quite what we expected....

It was great having an oceanfront balcony, and the unit was as described. The staff was very helpful. We were surprised to find that the building is essentially being run like a motel. There is literally a "vacancy/ no vacancy" sign out front. That wasn't what we expected from a VRBO. We were under the impression that we were renting a unit in a building of private residences. The place is called the "Turtle Crawl Inn" and the building is a bit run-down.... Having said all that, it appears that they are in the process of making some improvements to the building, and we did have an enjoyable stay. If your expectations of the overall condition of the building aren't too high, the unit is as pictured, and the view is great! And you are just footsteps from the beach. One final note: the washer and dryer are not in the unit.... they are coin-operated and for community use.

What a beautiful and relaxing vacation. The water at your fingertips and the amazing sunsets were indescribable! It was just right for the two of us. Loved the updated shower. Loved that lounge chairs and beach towels were provided. I’m ready to book again for next year!

Great spot with an awesome view

This unit was true to its word - the view is breathtaking. The staff is friendly and helpful!! They even offer new towels daily! The unit leaves starter toilet paper, paper towels, etc. which is not usual. The beach has lots of chairs so you don't need to bring them from your unit. There's even a trunk of beach toys for kids. The pool is well-maintained and a perfect size. I would definitely rent there again!

Perfect Getaway for Two

My wife has to get her annual "beach fix". Although we're from Tallahassee, the nearest nice beach properties are on St. George Island, about 80 miles southwest. Since we had a state-wide conference that we needed to attend in Sarasota, we used the trip as an excuse to add three nights to our trip at this beach-front property on Longboat Key. The booking was just two weeks after Hurricane Milton. Signs of the storm's aftermath were everywhere. Only the first floor of this five story, 20 apartment condo seemed to be affected. Our unit exhibited no signs of a recent hurricane, except that we didn't have cable TV the first night. The on-site receptionist was friendly, helpful and responsive. She had the cable fixed by the next day. The sole elevator was out of commission for a few hours, but was quickly fixed and didn't negatively impact our stay. (As I pointed out to the receptionist, we've lived through hurricanes less devastating than Milton so we understand weather inconveniences.) Although advertised for up to six, full capacity should only be considered manageable for very compatible friends or family. It was perfect for the two of us. Appliances and furniture have been updated and are in perfect condition. The unit was both well-appointed and clean. The unit even has a couple of beach umbrellas. The only amenity we missed was a screen for the patio doors, but it's understandable considering that screens would never survive a hurricane.

Nice property with beach chairs provided, pool, shuffleboard and putting green plus tons of communal beach toys. No vending machine, and unit does not have washer/dryer or a dishwasher. Walking distance to Ace Hardware/gift shop and Bayfront Park with pickleball and kayak/paddleboard rental.
