« Kiwassa Lodge was just what we needed, serene and spacious. Sitting on the patio or down on the dock, there was near silence, just an occasional boat (but no jet skis). Alan is very responsive and accommodating. The house is not a cookie cutter lake house but an architecturally appealing design and likely built in the hey day of Adirondacks (not that its time has past) with lots of lake facing glass.We had everything we needed and everything was clean. « Could be great. Nice cabin but very limited with supplies if staying longer than a couple days. Couch in living room needs replacing. Limited seating if there are multiple people in your group. Outside was not maintained, grass was not cut and high which made it tough with the dog. A few corrections and this place would be amazing. I would stay again for my visit to Lake Placid and surrounding area. »

« Loved this house. Loved the interior updates and nice beds. Loved the laundry and outside fire pit and seating. Bathrooms were lovely and the linens were great. Kitchen is nice but difficult to cook a whole lot with the tools supplied. But going out to eat is more fun on vacation anyways. The back door not having a latch threw us for a loop, but we just ended up using the front door instead. We would definitely suggest this house and would definitely book here again. »

« Really great rental property with amazing views out over the village of Lake Placid, Mirror Lake and the Adirondacks. Large square footage, very clean and well equipped. The property also has a large attached deck…also with amazing views. Another great bonus is access to the facilities of the Crown Plaza Lake Placid that is literally right across the road. »

« Stayed here with 3 related families, so much room to spread out and give both kids and adults their space. Great bunk room for the kids. Lots of space for eating at the table. Well stocked home with everything needed to stay there. Beds seemed comfortable. Fun games in the game room for the kids. Hot tub and outdoor space was great. Even though the house is on the main road, was quiet for sleeping. »

« We had such an amazing time at this property. I went with my family and we slept 12 people comfortably. There is something to do for everyone and about a 30 minute drive to Lake Placid. Host was communicative and friendly. Highly recommend! »

« Le chalet était vraiment tel que décrit : il y a tout ce dont on a besoin. Très confortable et au calme, tout en étant proche du centre de Lake Placid. Et Gilles est un hôte attentionné qui répond rapidement à nos questions. C’était génial, on y retournera. »

« The house was beautiful and big enough for all of us. The lake was the most peaceful one we’ve ever been to. We’ve stayed all over the Adirondacks and Maine. We were a little nervous at first with no cell service but STARLINK wifi was great and we had no issues. There is also a landline. Kayaking surrounded by gorgeous mountains was amazing. »

« Two families and long-time friends stayed at the lodge over Labor Day weekend. Location was perfect for the dads finishing their 46 on Whiteface! Kids loved the property and bunk room. Parents loved the two king beds, sauna and peaceful atmosphere. Kitchen was very well-equipped! Would love to stay again! Thank you! »

« We went to Lake Placid to see the eclipse (and were not disappointed) and this condo was perfect for our stay. The kids enjoyed the game room and the adults enjoyed the comfortable seating and fireplace on the main level. Everything was clear and neat as a pin, and the managers were proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. »
