'Jolie petite maison à proximité du centre ville d'Horta. Idéal pour profiter d'Horta et pour rayonner sur Faial. La maison a du cachet, mais est de taille modeste. Nous étions 4 dont 2 enfants (8 et 10), et on aurait pu se sentir à l'étroit si la météo nous avait obligés à rester à l'intérieur. Pas de problème par contre pour les couchages, même si l'escalier d'accès est pentu. A noter le passage très étroit pour accéder en voiture à la maison, mais ça passe! 'Our hosts Fatima and George were the best hosts we have ever had in many VRBO experiences. There was a fresh baked cake, basket of cheese, basket of fruit, basket of bread/biscuits and a bottle of wine waiting on the dining room table when we arrived. The patio off of the house was a fantastic private setting for evening wine and cheese. The old basalt cottage was impeccable, it looked brand new as if we were the first to occupy!'

'We had a fabulous (long) stay with our family in this new and very nice house. As for the accomodation: it has a modern look and feel and is just large enough. All the equipment is fully ok and available and there are 2 separate showers and bathrooms. 'The property is really unique and we loved our stay in our cottage. We wish there was better communication from the property, especially for check-in, as well as more availability for the "front-desk" which was never open while we were there. It would be helpful if the property provided some type of guidebook (e.g. do we need to recycle? What do we need to do with garbage before we leave?). Nice apartment with great view
"We choose this apartment where we stayed for a week for its central location and this turned out to be the case. It is located close to the regional road to the mountain area and Lajes. The host was not able to welcome us in person but via the phone we received all essential information, we could always reach her by phone. She provided some fresh fruit, tomatoes, water, milk, coffee and tea, so we did not have to buy these at the start. The house has a great sea view and has all facilities you need to have a comfortable stay. There are 3 restaurants, 2 supermarkets and a baker within 5 min drive by car. The sea swimming pool is at approx 15-20 min walking distance. It really met our expectations."
