Historic House in the Heart of Sancerre – Wines, Restaurants, and the Village Within Walking Distance

Imagine a few days in the heart of Sancerre: in the morning, you can walk to get bread, stroll through the narrow streets or discover the market. During the day, you can explore the estates and villages of the vineyards. In the evening, there is no need to take the car again: restaurants, wine bars and shops are within walking distance. Then you will find the calm of the Maison d'Élisabeth, around the fireplace in winter or a glass of Sancerre in the courtyard on sunny days.

### A house designed to meet up... without giving up its privacy

That's what we particularly like about this house: it allows you to live together while leaving everyone their own space.

It accommodates up to 11 people in **4 bedrooms, each with its own private shower room**. A particularly pleasant configuration for four couples travelling together, several generations of the same family or a group of friends.

Three bedrooms each have a queen size bed 160 × 200 cm and a single bed 90 × 200 cm. The fourth is equipped with a queen size bed 160 × 200 cm.

The beds are prepared for your arrival and towels are provided.

On the first floor, the living spaces invite you to get together: prepare together the products brought back from the market, share a long evening around the table or enjoy the warmth of the fireplace when the days get cool.

On sunny days, the inner courtyard and its terrace become a real extra room: breakfast outside, an aperitif after a day in the vineyards or a sweet dinner in the evening.

One of the pleasures of the Maison d'Élisabeth is to be able to forget about the car during your stay.

You are in the heart of Sancerre, with its old streets, its winegrowers' houses, its restaurants, shops and tastings within walking distance.

All around stretches the Sancerre vineyards: cellars and wine estates, villages, hilly landscapes and panoramas of the Loire invite you to compose each day according to your desires. Gastronomy lovers will also be able to discover the products that have made the reputation of the region, in particular the wines of Sancerre and the Crottin de Chavignol.PGJyPg
