The view was great

Great view, But

The property is tricky to acces and there were trouble with elevators throughout the stay. The rooms are comfortable but the bedroom ceiling light and fan did not function and the heater in the bedroom did not operate. The contact people responded right away when notified so hopefully next tenents will have the items fixed and elevatiors are working.

Great View

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The windows looking out on the ocean are fantastic.The building was a little older than we expected. Checking in and out is also somewhat complicated.The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc.We would have preferred one King size bed instead of two queens which made the bedroom a little tight.If you are looking for a place with a pool, you should know the pool is half a block away. We weren’t interested in a pool so we didn’t care.I think we would stay here again because it was convenient to the places we wanted to visit and the airport.

San Diego getaway

The condo was great! The location made for an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and a short drive to the grocery store. The wall of windows facing the ocean was wonderful!

Wonderful location, gorgeous view. The beach access is close to the complex. Numerous options for both shopping and dining within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Honest Review by Family of 4

We stayed here for a week with 2 adults, a toddler and a 7 month old. Overall the stay was ok. Location: Pros: view of the beach is great Cons: neighborhood is a little rough Building: Pro: nice roof top deck with bbq, garage with parking Con: old building with slow elevators, musty smell, and slow draining water in the shower leaves you standing in water most of the time Check in: Pro: once your in it’s pretty easy Con: complicated process to use elevators, doors, locks. We even got locked into our room. Yes locked into our room Room: Pro: comfy beds, kitchen was good, lots of towels Cons: dishwasher old, garbage disposal smelled terrible, drying rack had mildew on it Overall, our stay was fine but we wouldn’t go out of our way to stay here again. This building was too old and although the room had an amazing view the location wasn’t really family friendly and was more of a party area of the city.

Breath taking view

The view from this condo is what we fell in love with in the photos. Upon arriving it did not disappoint. We only wished our trip was longer to continue to enjoy all the amenities this condo has to offer.

Great View!!

We had the perfect stay in San Diego. The condo was clean and conveniently located to everything. What a view from the living room!!! The view alone was worth the price. The condo was easy to find, and we had no issues accessing the amenities. Our kids enjoyed a day at the beach. The sand toys, chairs, umbrella, and boogie board all came in handy for relaxation and water fun on the beach. When we came to SD, we stayed at several places, but this was by far our favorite.

Summer Trip

Our family had such a wonderful visit to San Diego. The location was perfect and the condo had everything we needed. The beach supplies provided were such a huge help to our family and the pack and play we requested was set up and ready to go when we arrived! We would definitely come back!

Wonderful

We actually loved this rental. Location was fabulous. Parking and ease of access to the condo was nice. The view out the living room floor to ceiling glass doors was breathtaking. We were still on east coast time so we were getting up by 6am and watching the surfers daily. I love that sand toys and beach chairs were available to use. Overall wonderful experience. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Great stay at the beach!!

Overall, we had an awesome stay at this rental on Pacific Beach. We loved watching the surfers out the floor to ceiling windows every morning and the sunsets in the evening (when we weren't on the beach that was right below us). It was a great location and had everything we needed. Check in and out was super easy even when we got in late on the first night. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone. The only issue we had was we had planned to have our kids stay in separate beds in the bedroom and my husband and I share the double pull out couch in the main room. The "double" bed was actually a single bed so we ended up all staying in the bedroom and the boys sharing a bed. It was a little more challenging getting them to sleep but it all worked out just fine. Thank you for a great stay and we would gladly book this beautiful condo at the Capri again.

Beautiful condo on Pacific Beach

We absolutely loved our time staying in Sunset House on Pacific Beach. We are a family of five and this home away from home worked great for us. The ocean views and sunsets are stunning. The condo had everything we needed and my kids loved the heated pool and hot tub. Best of all, the beach is right there!

Great view. TVs were NOT user friendly at all. :-(. Beds are comfortable. Check in makes me feel like I was going through an FBI clearance. Turn off.

Perfect stay

We have two kids, aged 5 and 3, and this was the perfect rental for us. Accommodating and helpful management, clear instructions, and overall an incredibly beautiful location— truly steps from the beach which made for a memorable family vacation. When we come back to San Diego, we will stay here!

Watched the dolphins and surfers daily

This unit had an amazing view. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets either from the comfort of the unit or from the roof’s panoramic setting. The location was excellent. We walked to several coffee shops and restaurants within minutes. We explored the greater San Diego area and with the underground parking we didn’t have to worry about finding street parking at the end of the day. We would love to stay here again!

Amazed!

This vacation was all we hoped for and more! We came on a mom/daughters trip to celebrate our family and grieve for our dad who we lost in January this year. The sound of the ocean and stunning views in this condo are incredible. We spent hours watching the surfers, dolphins, pelicans and dog walkers. The sunsets are insanely beautiful right from the living room. We had so much fun on the beach — chairs, umbrellas, towels all included and easily accessible in a closet in the condo. The restaurants and shops are close by. We took ride shares to the Zoo, the Broadway Ferry terminal, La Jolla, and of course the airport. All about $25 each way. They all drop you right at the Capri front entrance. The beds are comfy with wonderfully soft “European Duvets.” The kitchen is nicely stocked and we ate several meals in the condo. Ralph’s grocery store is pretty close but too far for us to carry groceries back so we had them deliver for $9.95. It worked out very well! They left the food at the front desk down stairs and they keep in touch with texts. The pool and hot tub are clean and inviting. We couldn’t find it but a helpful resident showed us the way. We arrived several hours before check in and they stored our luggage at no charge behind a locked door off the lobby. We felt safe here and throughly enjoyed every minute of it! We definitely will be back!!!
