It's only one block from the beach, and easy walking distance to countless restaurants and tasting rooms.

Ladder and stairs — The home is three stories and requires use of stairs. The lofts is accessible by an indoor ladder and is not recommended for young children.

Parking — This unit parks one car in a garage. Access can be tight due to the alley configuration. Large vehicles are very hard to maneuver in and out.

No Smoking - Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises. An additional cleaning fee of $100 may be charged for cigarette butts found on the property

No Parties - Parties without prior written permission are not welcome here. Please spare our environment. A $100 cleaning fee will be charged for any confetti found.

The roof top deck is really the selling point! Amazing view. Lots of seating etc. perfect for sunsets. Good amenities. Perfect to walk to beach and town. Good local restaurants! And people in OB are very friendly! I scored it a 4 star because there was a lot more outside noise than I would expect. Unit is directly in the line of plane takeoffs from San Diego, and is next to the alley that has more foot and car and garbage pickup traffic. Still totally recommend it, but something to consider for that location access.

This property is in a great location. It is well stocked with everything one might need during their stay. Plenty of towels! Very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The beds were quite comfortable. There isn’t really a “living room TV”, but that did not bother us at all. We did not use the garage parking because we have a large vehicle, however, we didn’t have any trouble finding on street parking- mostly right in front! I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location a block away from dog beach.Great roof top view with a brand new grill. Beautiful to watch sunsets and dine outdoors. Lots of space in the house on multiple levels as long as you don’t mind some stairs.I loved having a garage and if you have a small car and you’re good at backing into tight spaces it’s perfect! Having a full size washer and dryer is great too. We utilized the outdoor shower a lot too. The place could use a little tlc in some of the furniture/decor/pillows/bedding/towels were pretty worn-definitely one home goods trip could remedy most of those things :) And if it’s hot like it was the one day you may end up sleeping in the loft or downstairs bc those are the only areas with mini split ac All in all we would stay again bc the location is great!

Property was just what we needed close to the beach /dog beach and rooms. The bottom room is basically its own tiny apartment which was great for our teens. Only side note i would add is that some inside doors was a little struggle to lock but not a major issue as a family. The host was also super kind enough to order some utensils since we did jot have enough.

Not the cleanest, but great location

Check in was easy and online, but the place is aged compared to the pictures. Furniture and some finishes could use a refresh. Outdoor furniture was ripped and sundried. The whole place, inside and out, could have been cleaned better prior to checking in. Perhaps it was, but not well or they just did a quick clean between reservations. The downstairs bed/pull out is very uncomfortable, so we just went with the couch upstairs. Overall was a good place, great location, by the beach and markets/food, but could have been cleaner and better kept.

Excellent location

The location of this place is ideal. Walking distance to anything you might need like a cvs, restaurants, convenient stores and the beach. We really enjoyed the dog beach nearby. Place was clean and orderly. Looking forward to our next visit.

The rooftop deck was amazing! The house is one block from the beach. Great local Mexican eateries. Recommend Cliffs Cafe for breakfast! I would go back there again.

Great Location

Overall, the house felt a little smaller/tighter inside than we were expecting. There was only one functional TV remote, with the upstairs remote missing a battery and non-functional even with new batteries we purchased - this made it hard to have simultaneous TV use in different rooms. The house itself was very walkable to everything in OB and the views from the rooftop deck were great. The master bed comforter had a small stain toward the foot area which is less than desirable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
