The restaurant is top notch and should in our opinion have at least one Michelin star. The hotel is located in an oasis of green and calm, with panoramic views of the city. A few minutes walk and elevator ride takes you right into the old city center.'

'The scenery near the hotel is especially beautiful. It takes only 15 mins drive from Hallstatt. But public transportation is not very convenient. If you come by car, it is also free parking. Breakfast is also good.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Chalet am Sonnehang. We stayed two nights, one in the second floor apartment which was lovely and then switched to the “tiny house” so we could have a fire in the wood stove. Nestled in the cozy cabin at night with the warming fire was a perfect alpine experience in sleepy Obertraun away from the busyness and crowds in Hallstatt! We would highly recommend staying here. The hosts were exceptional and very helpful. 😊'

'Zeer uitzonderlijk, panoramisch, hotel. Modern en prachtig ingericht. Zeer goede bedden. Mooie kamer met panoramisch zicht maar wel veel lichtinval ‘s morgends. Prachtig panoramisch restaurant en heerlijk, rijk ontbijt. '

'Heel mooi sfeervol hotel. Vriendelijk personeel en ontvangst met een glas prosecco. Wij hadden een superior kamer in de questhouse (nr 81). Mooie kamer met leuk uitzicht op het zwembad en de bergen. Wel een drukke weg langs het hotel. Hiervan geen hinder bij het slapen met de deur dicht. Geen apart toilet, dat is wel ongemakkelijk. Prima bedden. Diner was erg goed. We konden Aken nog voor 18u en 20:30u reserveren. Echter zaten we als enigen om 18u, om 18:30u en 19u steden er nog 2 tafeltjes...
