We had a great time at the Anchorage. The property is perfectly located, right in the middle of the village with a pub, coffee shop and shops all only a few steps away. Turn left out of the front door and the beach is 2 minutes away, turn right and there’s a lovely walk over the beck and across the harbour. We had 2 dogs with us and worried a bit about the lack of a garden, but with such lovely walks literally right outside the door, it didn’t matter. The house itself is so quaint. Don’t expect perfection, it is a 200 year old cottage, but we loved it! It is well equipped for 10 people. We particularly loved dinners around the big table in the kitchen. The cupboards are stocked with essentials. Note, there are 2 fridges. We didn’t find the one that had milk left in it for us till day 3. Overall, I recommend the Anchorage and will be rebooking.
