Cottages in Saint-Pierre-lès-Elbeuf

'We hebben genoten van de rust, de grote tuin, de frambozen, perziken, tomaten en de gezellige kippen. Helaas slecht geslapen omdat het matras versleten is en de springveren erdoor komen. Dat gaf beurse ligplekken, helaas. Het is een huis voor 4 personen maar er waren slechts 2 tuinstoelen (zonder kussens) aanwezig.'

'The owners were very friendly and helpful. The charming house was very clean. The huge fenced off garden was perfect for our dog. The small balcony perfect for chilling out in the evening. One small disadvantage for less mobile people is that there is no upstairs toilet and it is a quite steep staircase. But so peaceful, no noise at night, perfect to rewind the batteries. 'De verhuurders Stella en Robert zijn schatten van mensen. Zo attent en aardig. Bij aankomst stond er een verse appeltaart met handgeschreven kaartje voor ons klaar. De vakantiewoning is prachtig, sfeervol. Voorzien van alle gemakken zoals spelletjes voor de kinderen, complete keuken, wasmachine. We hebben genoten van onze vakantie en zouden iedereen een verblijf aanraden!'

'Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison où il ne manque rien . Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Jacques et Éric qui sont aux petits soins pour leurs convives . Nous recommandons ce petit coin de paradis et nous reviendrons avec plaisir .'

'A very special accomodation, decoration (furniture etc.) very nice too. Very private and quiet. It was cold in febr., but the house was warm. Enough wood for burning. Lots of thing to do in the surroundings, castles, Rouen, etc., some also open in winter (mind the lunchbreak!). Apart from some French magazines about the whole of Normandie, no tourist information. Internet worked fine first few days, last few days hardly. And unfortunately still no breadknife or dustbin bags:). Enjoyed our stay. '

'After not thinking we would be able to holiday due to Covid this was the perfect relaxing retreat. Everything was as we had expected. The log cabin was well equipped and comfortable. The gifts on arrival ( goats cheese , apple juice, jam and cider ) were all lovely and a nice touch. Roaming chickens and cats were an added delight with some eggs given to us in the week. Perfect break.'

'Nice living room and fantastic terras Beautiful garden Great pool Bethroom and bathroom are ok, just a bit older. We had a very pleasant holiday there. You don't have to go out every day to feel like you're on holiday. The house and garden offer many opportunities to have a good time. Tios for outings: Etretat with its beautiful rocky coast and charming Rouen pleasantly surprised us. Versailles is also worth a day trip.'
