'A delightful gite, hidden away with some beautiful views. It was easy to find, easy access, with a very warm welcome. Well appointed with everything that we needed for our stay, lots of facilities, including games room and gorgeous pool. Lovely surroundings with some charming animals, lots to do in the area. Quiet, charming and would definitely visit again.'

'L'hébergement était parfaitement adapté pour un week-end entre amis. Il est bien rénové et bien équipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les nombreuses chambres et salles de bain qui permettent de ne pas "se marcher dessus". Il faut bien noter toutefois qu'il s'agit de 2 maisons séparées (une de 12 couchages et une de 4 couchages) mais elles sont dans la même cour donc pas de problème.La maison est isolée en pleine campagne donc pas de problème de bruit pour le voisinage. 'Séjour très très agréable, détente assurée dans un cadre charmant joliment décorée, le mobilier intérieur et extérieur étant de qualité et neuf nous avons apprécié ces vacances ainsi que la piscine. 'Compact and comfortable. Well fitted out and storage for our bikes. Michel and Paulette are great hosts, made us very welcome and provided help with local maps and attractions. This GÎTE in their garden is very quiet and peaceful, only 5 min walk to the coast and about 20 mins into town. For us, the attraction was the convenience of the Vendee cycle ways which are minutes away and are great ways to explore north and south of St Gilles on flat firm surfaces. "It is a good accomdation, our room was small, but good. WE missed a cooler, because the oppotunities for buying stuff was not so big, in the accomodation. When we checked in the woman at the desk really tried to understand us en for us to inderstand her. "

"I'd already been there twice before and was completely satisfied. But this time I was very disappointed. It started with the fact that my credit card had already been charged the morning before my arrival. Then, unlike my previous visit, I was given a very, very small room, even though I had requested the same room. Finally, the quality of the food in the restaurant had also been downgraded. The most positive thing was the very friendly lady at the reception who even went out of her way to place me in a slightly better room."

"Voldoende parking. Onpersoonlijke ontvangst. Inchecken via scherm : kamernummer, code en betalen. Receptie slechte enkele uren bemand. Geen al te vriendelijk personeel aan receptie. Kleine kamer en badkamer. Wel netjes maar weinig comfort. Ontbijt minimaal. Enkel kaas, choco, confituur als beleg en de roereieren waren alles behalve lekker. Heel kleine ontbijtruimte voor grootte van hotel. Om 8u30 was deze volledig bezet en moet er gewacht worden tot iemand klaar is. Geen bar waar je nog even rustig iets kan drinken. Enkel 2 apparaten waar je drank en eten uit kan halen."
