B&B in Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire

'what a beautiful and charming little hotel. everything was lovely and staying right in the centre of ikd town in a place built in the 16th century was superb. Agathe, the hostess attended to any needs, breakfast was perfect and the room was very large even by American standards. Parking is about 50 meters away in a very large underground public lot. The castle is maybe 150 meters away and the town center maybe 100 meters. Can't wait ti return to Angers and stay here again. '

'Tranquil peaceful setting. Comfortable. Wi-fi speed was slow. Meadows on the doorstep with facilities within a short drive. Fresh croissants, pain au chocolate and baguette for breakfast. Missed fresh fruits. A little more milk would be nice. Enjoyed short stay. '

'Very congenial and helpful host in a lovely, charming and beautifully-furnished house. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast is light, stairs are quite steep and the radiator will tick and trickle fairly continuously when on, so do without it from bedtime when possible. Parking at the nearby secure park is easy and reasonably priced - just be aware the only indication you'll get that the exit machine has scanned your paid ticket is the raising of the arm!'

'They were doing renovations on the exterior, and the gardens need attention, but all this actually added to the ambiance of the place. One could only imagine this property its once former glory. Our room was super clean and airy, with lovely big windows, the beds were comfortable, and the decor was cosy. There are lots of seats to sit on outside and enjoy the quietness of the countryside and fresh air. There are a couple of friendly horses in the stable next to the house too.The breakfast is...
