This farmhouse is built in the heart of nature on a 100-hectare property. It boasts a beautiful view of the Alt Garrotxa massif in Spain. You will live in a green setting overlooking the valley in a mid-mountain region with a Mediterranean climate. Our farmhouse will delight lovers of peace and quiet and walks; the location is ideal for disconnecting from everyday life. From your front door, you can set off on three different walks. The small village of Coustouges (800m away) is a gem of Romanesque art. You will be a few kilometers from the Spanish border, 43 km from Figueres, 35 km from Céret, 30 minutes from Prats de Mollo, and close to the Canigou massif. The sea and its fine sandy beach are 60 km away. With a separate entrance, a few steps lead down to a large living area comprising the kitchen, living room, and access to the terrace. 3 bedrooms: a master bedroom (1 double bed), a small office for those who need to work remotely, and a second bedroom with 3 single beds (can be combined for a couple with children). The third bedroom is under the eaves, with two single beds, closed off by a blackout curtain. Bathroom and 2 separate toilets. Laundry room in the building. Private parking on the property. Large, characterful, comfortable and spacious holiday cottage, converted from a former 12th-century farmhouse, Lo Colomer; the building is constructed of local dressed stone and exposed beams.
