Paradis trouvé. Dès que vous entrez dans la porte de Harbour Island, vos soucis commencent à fondre. Harbour Island est une petite île privée décontractée avec plus de 2 miles de dunes et une plage de sable de sucre. Il n'y a pas d'accès public, donc la plage est toujours peu fréquentée. Les activités abondent, la pêche, le crabe, les bombardements, le kayak et le vélo et bien plus encore.
Il n'y a que quelques villas face à l'océan sur l'île, et elles sont situées dans les bâtiments D ou K. Notre unité est en K qui est plus isolée et privée que D. K est également plus proche du Beach and Raquet Club, qui est le centre d'activités de l'île. Le club possède une piscine olympique, une pataugeoire et une aire de jeux pour enfants. Le club house dispose d'une salle d'aérobie et d'une salle de musculation au niveau inférieur. A l'étage, il y a un snack-bar et un magasin et un balcon couvert. Vous trouverez également des terrains de volley-ball, de basket-ball, de tennis, de shuffle board et de fer à cheval.
Notre villa est parfaite pour vos vacances à la plage. À l'intérieur de l'unité au niveau inférieur, vous trouverez un salon confortable avec vue sur l'océan, une télévision à écran plat de 55 pouces avec lecteur DVD et un foyer électrique. Il y a un canapé-lit queen, deux fauteuils inclinables et un fauteuil inclinable Lay-Z-Boy. Il y a aussi une cuisine bien équipée, un coin repas et 1/2 salle de bain. Enfin, franchissez les portes vitrées coulissantes sur le balcon. Vous y trouverez une table, des chaises, un parasol, une chaise longue et l'une des meilleures vues de l'île.
Au niveau supérieur, il y a 2 chambres, chacune avec salle de bain privée et beaucoup d'espace de rangement. La chambre d'hôtes a un lit Queen, et une chaise berçante et une télévision à écran plat w / dvd. La chambre principale a un lit Queen, une télévision à écran plat avec lecteur DVD et un magnifique siège de fenêtre de 8 pieds donnant sur les dunes et l'océan et est l'endroit idéal pour lire ou faire une sieste.
À l'extérieur de l'unité, il y a des piscines juste à côté de chaque extrémité du bâtiment et une promenade sur les dunes jusqu'à la plage.
Bref, tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour des vacances en famille mémorables ou une escapade romantique.

Beautiful view and nice place but there were roaches
We were so looking forward to a nice trip but ended up being a stressful one. The place seemed to be clean until we found there were roaches. I didn’t notice them until the last night we were there. My husband noticed them earlier but didn’t want to upset me since we were already there and enjoying our time. We had to come home and leave our stuff outside until I was able to clean everything before it came into our house.

Wonderful view of ocean
Great location as we went one day to Savannah and one day to Charlston. View from living room, deck and bedroom of the ocean was so beautiful and relaxing. We have rented many places. This one was one of the cleanest. Would have appreciated at least one dishwasher tab to use for when we left. Many great places to eat within 10 minutes of condo Our favorite was Johnson creek. Thank you Peterson family we greatly appreciated your condo.

Perfect Week
We had the best time here! Felt suprisingly spacious for our family of 6, which is hard to accomplish! Loved the THREE pools and the short walk to the beach. Was so suprised at how few people were out on the beach - we had it all to ourselves several times! We spent 2 days at nearby Hunting Island - only a few minutes away for a beautiful true "wild island" feel. Would love to return!

Fantastic
My family and I had a wonderful time at the condo. The location was perfect - right next to the beach with an easy drive to restaurants and other attractions (e.g. Hunting Island). We have already recommended it to others for their vacations.

Can't beat the location!
Great location, beach was perfect. Tide goes out so far and you can discover so many cool things. The condo was great, everything we needed, no problems at all. The view was amazing. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back.

Great condo, beach walkout!
Beautiful oven view! You can look outside right at the beach walkout you’ll use. Three different pools on the property! One area also has a small kiddie pool next to the large swimming pool, and a gift shop with lunch & snack selections. Communication with owner was wonderful. Will plan on staying here again!

The condo has a great location. Owner is easy to work with. One pool had filter problem and it was allowed to go on two days before the pool was closed down. Not too happy about that but not owners fault. Do think with a fairly large professional cleaning fee condo could have been a little cleaner. Found black greasy substance on floor by one bed, quite dusty and master bathroom had black mold. But over all we enjoyed our stay

Second stay
This was our second stay at the property. We love the location. The wildlife around the area is spectacular. The unit was exactly as shown in the photos and the same as our last stay, besides a few upgrades. We spent time at the property, the beach, the pool and Hunting Island State Park. We will absolutely be back and be back to this same unit. Highly recommend!

Peaceful family time we needed at the beach
We had a wonderful relaxing time at this beautiful condo just focused on the beautiful surroundings and time together without the usual hustle of work and sports and school…etc. it was incredibly peacefu and the beach was not crowded and full of amazing wildlife even our kids (ranging 6-17 years old) were so excited to take in. As parents we enjoyed watching our kids playing anf playing with them. We saw small sharks, a sting ray, a large horseshoe crab , several cool fish, and so many hermit crabs. Thanks to Lloyd’s suggestion we sought out the harbor island sea turtle volunteer Facebook page. They are wonderful and my girls and I ended up getting up early to walk the beach early in the morning while they followed sea turtle tracks and discovered three nests! Our girls even had their initials added to a nest marker so they could follow the Facebook page and check to see when the nest hatches later this summer! It was a trip highlight to be sure and the volunteers were so kind and informative. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and a perfect vacation spot. Thank you and we hope to come again someday!

Very Relaxing!
We found our stay very relaxing. We loved that we could see the water from the one bedroom and the deck. We enjoyed walking on the beach, especially at low tide. There are lots of seafood restaurants within easy driving distance.

Great space in a great location
We loved our stay here. The condo, the view, access to the beach, and community amenities (fitness center, multiple pools, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts) were all excellent. Would definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again ourselves.

Peaceful and friendly
This was our first time vacationing in South Carolina. The people were so friendly. We live in east TN, so we're quite used to southern hospitality, but we were still impressed by the genuine friendliness, in and out of Harbor Island. The villa was great. We felt right at home, except we had a beach in the back yard!!! Kids rented bikes and rode all over without a care in the world. Wonderful stay. Wonderful people. So peaceful. Ended too soon.

Excellent location and accomdation
A very nice and comfortable condo facing the beach in the gated community of Harbor Island which is very clean and private. The condo, while older is well-appointed, clean and very comfortable. My husband and I stayed with our 17yr old daughter and 18yr old friend. The 2.5 baths were great for the four of us. The beds and bedding were comfortable. Had a wonderful view of the ocean over the dunes. Beach was beautiful and uncrowded. Low tide offered a wide expanse of sand and tide pools to explore. Hunting and Fripp Islands are just down the way. Hunting Island State Park is beautiful. Good eats just down the way with By the Slice Pizza and Johnson Creek Tavern. Easy drive back into Beaufort. We took a dolphin tour with Coastal Expeditions which was both enjoyable and informative. Took a guided sunset kayaking tour with Beaufort Lands End Kayaking and Paddle Boards, and had a great time paddling around Hunting Island to Boneyard Beach. Great way to spend a few hours on the water. We also went fossil hunting at Sands Beach in Port Royal. Lots to do if you don't want to just hang at the beach. Harbor Island also offered three pools, tennis court, a putting green, basket ball, pickle ball, etc. We rented an electric golf cart to scoot around the community in. Not at all necessary but fun. Had a great stay. Would visit again.

Great location - calm and peaceful beach
This was our first time on Harbor Island and we will definitely be back. I’m still in awe about how clean and calm the beach is here. We saw dolphin right off the shore several times. It was truly amazing! The condo is nice and worked well for our family of five. I do recommend checking/replacing the shower faucets and upgrading the towels and bath mats. Although there are enough kitchen supplies, I would suggest that they also be upgraded. Many of the items are so old and worn out they are not useful. Outside of that, the condo was great and our trip was a memorable one!

Location,Location,Location The views from the bedroom and living area are GREAT! The amenities were very good. Cleanliness was average. The access to the beach was GREAT. A few minor items kept this property from being AWESOME , but it was a GREAT stay overall. I would definitely return to this property for a future visit. The pictures of the property are accurate.Communication with the host was excellent. Just be sure to do your food shopping prior to arrival as it is about 12 miles to grocer (Food Lion or Walmart). Johnson Creek Tavern seafood was very good with great portions. I travel quite a bit and not many places get a rating or review from me, but this property warrants a review.
