'An exceptional hotel. It’s located on a quiet street right next to a park, but great shops and restaurants are within a minute walk from the hotel. Our room was thoughtfully appointed at every level. Care and attention was paid to every detail of the room, its use of space, its furnishings, fixtures, and even the linens. 'A gorgeous property, down a long driveway and far from any boise other than birds and the breeze. There are ruins of a large manor/chateau (?) on the property that formed the view from our room and fascinating to wander through. The hostess is lovely and the breakfast delicious.'

'Déçu de la réservation via hotels.com , notre hôte ne nous attendait pas, n'ayant pas reçu la demande. Heureusement l'hotel avait une chambre en plus esthétiquement moins belle qu'initialement prévue mais au RDC avec accès direct à l'extérieur dans une belle demeure. '

'The guest house is in one of the oldest buildings in Dinan so charming and right in the middle of town. Wonderful to look out over the ancient street at night when the tourists are gone. You have to climb a narrow staircase but the owner carried our bags up. They brought breakfast to our room each morning, very special. There is a shared kitchen with refrigerator and espresso machine for guests. They offer free parking with a card in a lot near the guesthouse. Be sure you get directions before...

'What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth!
