Chalets in St. Andrews

'Stayed in 4 hotels during our journey around Scotland. This was the worst in terms of value for money. Also my bed was hard. We mentioned at booking that it was our anniversary, Yet given a room with two single beds. There is no front desk, you have to get to the bar to check in and get a key. But the bar is so full it’s hard to get near it.'

'This was my second time at the Albany, and I'll be sure to stay here next time I need to travel to St Andrews. The hotel is perfect for a single traveller: small and friendly, plenty of character, and a delicious, home-cooked breakfast to start off the day.'

'The location was perfect. Walking distance to Old St Andrews course and town center. The staff was exceptional in taking care of any questions we had. The room was comfortable and clean. Definitely would return.'

'This was a beautiful and convienient place to stay. It was small, but had everything we needed. It was in a wonderful, walkable area right near the Old Course. There were also complimentary snacks when we arrived. Wonderful stay! We would definately stay again.'

'Lovely bedroom, clean and well maintained. Staff lovely and helpful. Public space a bit limited for a hotel of this rating. Feel the outside signage for restaurant/bar lets it down. Breakfast also quite basic but adequate. Couldn’t fault the room or staff though.'

'The hotel is a bit of a walk if you don't have a vehicle. Price wise, it was on the high side so you don't get outstanding value. There is extra charges for breakfast, checking in early as well so it just felt like for the price that you don't get a lot.'

'My second time staying. This time the sweet had a beautiful expanded and modern kitchen. However, virtually no dishes, pots or pans and no cutlery. Needless to say it was a beautiful kitchen, but not as much use except to keep things in the fridge. Manager should at least add some cutlery.'
