✦ LOCATION:
Located in the San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 6354 feet, you’ll be far enough away from the city to enjoy the serenity of the mountains, but only a short 10-15 minute drive from all of the action on the slopes and hiking the area has to offer.

✦ DECKS With STUNNING VIEWS:
The upper deck features a spacious dining table with seating for six, perfect for al fresco meals, plus a relaxing lounge area with privacy fencing.
Our lower deck offers equally stunning vistas and a luxurious 6-person Catalina Spa hot tub – the ideal spot to unwind and watch the sunset after a day on the slopes.

✦ ROOM FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY
Our open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area offers seamless flow, perfect for gathering. Cook with ease in the fully stocked kitchen (including basic spices & olive oil) while enjoying the wood-burning fireplace and scenic views. Plus, enjoy a fully stocked coffee station with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate!

✦ Rooms: The first floor features a shared bathroom and two bedrooms—one with a queen bed and another with twin XL bunk beds. Upstairs, the private loft master suite offers a king bed and ensuite bathroom. All rooms are equipped with room-darkening shades for a restful sleep.

✦ BATHROOMS: Both have rain shower heads and are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer! The downstairs bathroom has a small tub.

✦ Work-from-home ready! The loft features a dedicated workspace with a large desk, monitor, and high-speed WiFi for a productive remote work experience. When you're done, relax, grab a drink, and enjoy the record player.

✦ Meditation and Exercise: The loft area is our dedicated yoga space with yoga mats and meditation pillows. We are also on a quiet loop, which makes for a great scenic run in the crisp mountain air.

At Skye Haus, you'll find plenty to keep you entertained, from movie nights on our 65" screen TV and a variety of board games to a foosball table, an 8' billiards table (that converts to ping pong!), chess, checkers, and a dart board.

With year-round activities, you'll find something for every season—mountain biking in the spring and summer, hiking the area's scenic trails, and skiing or snowboarding in the winter. The adventure is endless!

When making a request, please tell us a little about yourselves, who will be staying, and your interest in staying at Skye Haus.

Any undisclosed guests of any kind are subject to a $100 fee per guest. Please use the "Pet" selection at booking along with the correct number of pets. Pets are also subject to the same fee as guests if undisclosed


✦ GUESTS & GUEST ACCESS
The entire space is yours to enjoy. We simply ask that you respect our home, our neighbors (noise), and especially our environment ( no feeding the animals and keeping all trash in appropriate bins)

**The bottom of the property has a steep slope with a shed; for your safety, we ask that you not access this area as it is hazardous and not maintained.


✦ LATE CHECK-OUT / EARLY CHECK-IN
If you need late check-out or early check-in, please contact us in advance. We will try to accommodate your request according to housekeeping and other guest reservations, but we can not guarantee it.
Crew can/will enter the premises anytime after check-out times if late checkouts have not been approved.

✦ PARKING - NO STREET PARKING
For your convenience, we offer a 2-car parking deck with a Level 2 EV charger. If you have a Tesla, please bring your NACS adapter. Additionally, we offer one additional off-street parking space suitable for a small compact vehicle. All guest vehicles must fit within the designated parking spaces and fit COMPLETELY on the property.

San Bernardino County does NOT permit Street parking, and it is not allowed / available for Guests. Doing so could result in towing/tickets by the San Bernardino County Officer. They are VERY strict with rule enforcement.

The car pad has a total weight capacity of 10,000 lbs. Note this: if you are arriving with large vehicles, please advise.

This property requires stairs and may be challenging for guests with limited mobility.

✦ SUMMER
Believe it or not, it gets hot in the mountains!
There's no A/C, but at 6000' elevation, evenings are pleasantly cool, and box window fans are provided for each room.

✦ WINTER ADVISORY
Heads up, adventurous souls! Our cozy mountain retreat sits at 6,000’+ elevation, meaning snow, rain, wind, and the occasional power outage are all part of the charm.

✫ ✫ NO REFUNDS for weather or power outages. We suggest all guests buy travel insurance for these cases. ✫ ✫

NOTE:
• 4x4, AWD, & tire chains REQUIRED (Oct–April).
• Pack warm clothes, jumper cables, & a spare tire.
• Snow happens! We provide shovels & but you may need to dig yourself out.
• Roads are plowed, but access isn't guaranteed.
• When it snows - always park off the street or you may get towed at your own
expense.
• Our snow clearing service comes when there is 4" or more snow.


✦✦We strive to schedule snow removal for the car pad and walkway before your arrival, but it is not guaranteed. After check-in, snow removal is the guest’s responsibility.✦✦

If you plan to arrive late, let us know, and we’ll do our best to coordinate, though availability is not guaranteed. Check-in and check-out times may be adjusted during active snowstorms.

Snow shovels are provided at the bottom of the large stairs to the left. (Right below the house numbers)

✦ CHILDREN
We are family-friendly but this cabin is not baby-proofed. Children/Pets should be supervised at all times at our property by adults. Guest understands that no special efforts have been made
"to childproof" and " pet-proof" this cabin and accepts the risk of harm to any children and pets we allow on the property.
These risks are not limited to but include access to indoor/outdoor games, outdoor areas including hot tub, stairs, lounge/upstairs iron railing, deck areas, and cleaning supplies in the cabin. We do have a few baby gates to help you out.

✦ PETS
We love our furry friends, and well-behaved pets are allowed, but as some guests are allergic, we perform a thorough cleaning after each pet stay and charge a $100 pet cleaning fee. Any major damage due to pets will be an additional fee. All pets must be leashed when outdoors, and please don’t forget to pick up the poop
