« We had a fantastic family get together with grandparents, children and grandchildren. 21 of us in total. We cooked together in the excellent kitchen, played pool, went in the spa, played tennis and ping pong and went for lively bush walks that were suitable for all ages. « Verona House is huge and extremely well equipped to cater for a large group: the kitchen has plenty of crockery, glassware, saucepans, cutlery & saucepans etc. plus tea, coffee etc. The lounge is large with a woodburning fire but because of its size was rather difficult to heat, especially as we chose probably the coldest weekend of the winter so far to stay there. It was the middle of winter, so it was quite cold, which was fine, but you have to go outside on the balcony to access the toilets and bathrooms. Mobile reception not great and no wifi. good to go off the grid, however the tv is not working due to bad Arial connection and remote not functioning. If you want to watch sport not ideal. TV Probably needs to be up graded. Overall great place. »
